Subject: Awesome Tournament Win - Clint MacLean
Hey guys.
I was playing in a tournament today and it was the
closest match i have had my entire life. I was
playing a gravekeepers deck with my combo Horus
Mystic Swordsman LV deck.
My opponent has three cards in his hand, nothing on
the field, and 4600 lifepoints. I have Horus Lv.8,
Level Up, and Goblin Attack Force in my hand, Mystic
Swordsman Lv.4 on the field and around 6000
lifepoints.
We had been at it for about twenty minutes at this
point and its my turn. I draw Pot of Advarise. I
place Horus Lv 6, Sangan, Silent Magician Lv.4,
Mystic Swordsman Lv.2, and Exiled Force back in my
deck.
I draw two cards and i get Graceful Charity and
Magical Mallet. I activated Graceful Charity and
ended up with a Marauding Captain. Now, i really
wanted to put the duel to the grave so i took a shot
in the dark. I activated Magical Mallet and selected
Horus Lv.8 to put back in my deck and crossed my
fingers for something awesome. My opponent gets all
anal and cuts the deck about 6 times shuffles it
around and finally pulls a single card, puts it on
the top of my deck, (so it was the 7th "cut) amd
then tosses it to me. Amazingly enough, i flip the
card and its Horus Lv. 6!
Putting it all together in my head i summoned horus
L.v 6 by sacrificing Mystic Swordsman Lv.4. Then i
used Level Up to get the Horus Lv.8 that i had just
put back in my deck for Lv.6. Then i used Marauding
Captain and special summoned Goblin Attack Force. A
direct attack causing 6500 point of damage!!
