Enough Whining YuGiOh Community- T34 W!rt$m@n

Everytime I come to Pojo, to look at the COTD, Tournament reports, Tips, and whatnot, I'm attacked with a rush of these kinds of sayings:

"Be original!"

"Don't use Chaos!"

"Cookie Cutter ruins the game!"

Well, sadly, I have news for you people. Originality is not possible in this game if you actually let people see the deckyou plan on pioneering.

For example: Soul Control. That was something original. For about 5 minutes. I wanted to try it, and I am working on a build right now btw. Then everyone else started copying the deck. I don't mind criticizing myself. And of course, if your not running Chaos, and your playing some sort of deck that relies completely on Ookazi, people look upon you as if your some sort of sacred martyr for the YuGiOh community. And those who play Chaos/Warrior Chaos get slammed on. I don't play Chaos. Never have. But honestly, who among us doesn't wan't to win? Originality is often quickly overlooked when it comes to competitive play, like Regionals and Nationals. Somntimes different builds do well, but do they always win the big one?

You know what originality is? It boils down to being able to take credit for being the first to do/have/say/whatever something. Go and run your Fish deck. Watch people quake in fear of your deck only using cards with the words 'the' somewhere on them. But enough preaching. I have no problem with people running Chaos. Heck, I play Zombie, I encourage it. Then, of course, someone has to blame either-

A) The player for even OWNING a BLS without selling it for some paralell holographic 7 Colored Fish

B) Upperdeck, because they make broken cards to easily

BLS is strong. That's something that's not deniable. It wins games. It owns people daily. If you leave it in your trade binder to long, it sets fire to all your Fusionists. But one card does not make a deck. Take a Chaos build, assuming its Advanced and with Envoy only, take it out and put in...Summoned Skull. Post it on the net. Then, someone is going to say "OMG lol s. skul is so awsom I frgot its 1 trib wit 2500 attk, lol it pwns the n00bs lol". Oh, it could happen too. People will suddenly play "The Skull", and the Fish guy is gonna say "Hey, The Skull is so unoriginal! Play Fish, the underated deck type!" "Yeah, w/e, sign your name under loser.".

I'm not defending BLS and Chaos. But honestly, enough with the original is the only way to go thing. I'm sure I'm not the only person who finds it annoying. I'm confident that everyone in the YuGiOh community knows what you want.

If you think I'm annoying for complaining about the complainers, drop me a line at pape666@msn.com<mailto:pape666@msn.com>.
Put "I Totally Agree With Your YuGiOh Tip" in the subject line, so I don't delete it.
Oh, and if you put "NOT!!1!" as the text using that subject line, real original, go play Fish.
