the Goat Rush Deck - RydertheEqulizr
Date: Sat, 9 Jul 2005 14:40:34 -0700 (PDT)

Evening folks, this is my 4th article that I'm sending in, and I hope to get mad amounts of email when they are all posted. In this article I will explain the idea of a goat rush deck and add my final thoughts to my Advantage lecture.
Ahhhh, the Goat Rush Deck. Using Scapegoat/Stray Lambs in sync with Rescue Cat, Gaia Power, Milus Radiant, Poison Fangs, Big March of Animals, and Banner of Courage. I feel that this deck is overly underrated and could whoop on those TER Tsuku Lock Decks anyday. The Deck is really good at making the OTK by getting each goat to around 2000 and then attacking with all of them. Of course thats almost impossible to have four goats but two Milus Radiant thanks to Rescue cat, Gaia Power or Poison Fangs, Stray Lambs, and Big March of Animals to launch one sweeping KO. Use Des Wombat and D.D. Crazy Beast with rescue cat and it works really well. Just try the deck if you can, i know its fun, but one important note, you need quite a few destruction cards for monsters and m/t to properly utilize its full potential
Now I'll add a new ending to the lecture. A good duelist most also utilize their opponents disadvantage, I will now look at the most commonly used cards and talk about how they display advantage.
Tribe Infecting Virus-by playing it you lose one hand advantage but gain one semi-good field advantage: a 1600 atk monster with a blank effect. Lose one hand advantage to have your opponent lose up to 5 field advantage, but usually just 1. Its a good trade off and its situational advantage makes it an all around good card, Breaker the Magical Warrior- by playing him you trade hand and field, pretty basic with most monsters. but his magic counter give him very good situational advantage as a 1900 attacker or the loss of your opponents m/t advantage. mostlt theyll activate the m/t you intended to destroy but when you go with your instincts, you can get a good trade off, hes a all around good card. Breaker and Tribe both can be called by their first name and make one heck of a tag team.
D.D. Warrior Lady/D.D. Assailant- field for hand, and they can give up your field advantage to give up your opponents field A. Their situational advantage is mixed but its better than it is worse. You must attack to utilize their advantages when you need them which presents a problem. And when your blocked by scapegoats and only have Assailant your SOL. But theyre plus side is your opponent doesnt gain graveyard advantage and when you set them your opponent is at the wrong side of the situational A.
Jinzo- I like this guy and what he makes up for in negative field advantage he more than makes up for in his great situational A. Pretty basic stuff, and his atk is good.
Airknight Parshath- -field A. but with one attack he nearly make up for it. Actually when he attack your opponent will almost always lose field advantage and the you gain hand advantage, and his trample ability gives him the situation. He eats scapegoats for breakfast. And Magician of Faiths for Dinner
BLS- what a punk, you give up one hand advantage which is better given up and two graves which is pennies compared to the field, to get the monster who may have the best situational advantage. Turn after he can get rid of any monster in his path and 3000 attack is digustibng, he should have 1800 attack, that would be fair. But yeah, he is as good as everyone says he is.
Magician of Faith- crappy field A. from hand, but gain hand advantage from graveyard. Pretty basic, and pretty good since the new hand advantage should make up for itself Tsukuyomi-alright kids, this card has mad situational advantage since when you chose to activate it, the act of summoning, you better have a use for it. All in all a good card My friend told me all I'm doing here is reviewing cards towards my style so I'll stop for now. But I will be back with an article when the urge strikes me.
Please write me your opinion, I love mail RydertheEqulizr@aim.com
