Wrapping The Graveyard In Tin Foil by Dum Manz Groop
From: NewLightInk@aol.com
Date: Sun, 14 Aug 2005 12:31:09 EDT

In this meta, a lot of people rely on the graveyard to win. In example, Black Luster Soldier needs lights and darks, Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted needs monsters in the graveyard to work. Magician of Faith, Sangan, Sinister Serpent, Vampire Lord, Searchers, Sacred Phoenix. Graveyard makes the world go around. What if I were to shut it all down? It would completely ruin the opponent. It would completly counter the meta.

Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
1800/700 **** Dark/Spellcaster
Effect: When this does battle damage, remove up to two of the opponents monsters in their graveyard from play. Also, the opponent cannot remove any cards from either graveyard.

1800 ATK makes a great offensive play. It prevents the opponent from bringing out their chaos while being able to remove their monsters.

Soul Release
Magic Card
Effect: Remove 5 cards from either graveyard.

A quick simple way to ditch threats and kill future ones.

Book of Life
Magic Card
Remove 1 card from the opponent's graveyard which is a monster. And special
summon a zombie type from your graveyard to your field.

Bringing back zombies which the opponent thought they rid things of is
great. Also removing one of their cards too.

Also there is a group of monsters called Gravekeepers which are empowered by
a field magic card called Necrovalley.

1) Necrovalley makes it so that the graveyard activity cannot happen.

2) And it majorly increases the scrawny gravekeeper's strength.

Gravekeepers have awesome effects like trample ability, swarmability,
bouncing, revival, position changing.

I made a gravekeeper deck and put in into serious play testing.

--- 17 Monster Cards ---

1 Jinzo
1 Gravekeeper's Cheif

3 Gravekeeper's Assaialant
3 Gravekeeper's Guard
3 Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier
3 Gravekeeper's Spy
1 Sangan
1 Mystic Tomato
1 Tribe-Infecting Virus

----16 Magic Cards----

3 Necrovalley

1 Pot of Greed
1 Graceful Charity
1 Delinquent Duo
1 Swords of Revealing Light
2 Terraforming
1 Lightning Vortex
1 Heavy Storm

2 Scapegoat
1 Mystical Space Typhoon

1 Snatch Steal
1 Premature Burial

----7 Trap Cards----
3 Rite of Spirit
3 Sakuretsu Armor
1 Call of the Haunted

I am completely aware that it is missing a few things, but it is kept at a
good budget and it has all the essentials. The deck was 1-1 against an average
chaos cookie cutter deck. 1st duel it negated everything in sight and the
monsters swarmed and killed it. 2nd duel Necrovalley did not get out and
gravekeeper's got owned.

Remember kids!!! The graveyard is not a place where threats die. It's where
they begin.
