As we’re getting ready to go into the Top 10 cards of 2022, we take one last look at some other cards with the 2 new Witchcrafter cards this weekend, starting with the new Fusion Spell: Witchcrafter Confusion Confession.

Confusion Confession is a Normal Spell that lets you conduct a Fusion Summon using monsters from your hand or field, just as long as you include a Witchcrafter monster as material. Pretty nice to give Witchcrafters a way to Fusion Summon some monsters, especially since they now got their own Fusion to summon. This of course does open up the door for even more Witchcrafter Fusions, but for now we got enough to work with. The other effect is the one we see on all the Witchcrafter Spells, returning itself from the graveyard to the hand during your End Phase if you control a Witchcrafter monster, which is good to keep your hand loaded for your Witchcrafter monster effects. Only once effect a turn and only once that turn, as is standard for all the Witchcrafter Spells. It’s nothing really groundbreaking, just a Witchcrafter Spell that Fusion Summons. It does the job it’s meant to do and that’s all we really need.

More weekend bonus reviews as we inch closer towards Christmas.  Today we have the Normal Magic-Witchcrafter Confusion Confession…say that three times fast.  Another spin on a Theme specific Fusion card.  Here, as we see often enough these days, you get to Fusion Summon from your Extra Deck.  Material can be used from your Hand or Field, which is standard, but you must include a Witchcrafter Monster.  That’s fair to necessitate a Theme Monster in the Theme Fusion card, while still keeping it open ended.  You can cycle this card back to your Hand from your Grave during the End Phase, so long as you control a Theme Monster.  I do like and want to note it doesn’t even have to be a Theme Fusion, just any Witchcrafter, so that’s helpful for the player too, and makes this card easier to get back.  You can only use one Effect per Turn, and once that Turn, and I feel that’s fair enough.  The first Effect on cards of this Type usually are limited to that, and I guess they don’t want you cycling multiples back of this in the same Turn.  It’s not the best Theme specific Fusion out there, but it helps.
