Kahyoreigetsu – #MAZE-EN025

Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Fairy, Spellcaster, Winged Beast, or Beast-Warrior monster from your hand, and if you do, equip it with this card, then you can return all Dragon monsters on the field to the hand. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there from the Spell & Trap Zone this turn while face-up: You can add 1 “Polymerization” Spell, “Fusion” Spell, or “Fusion Parasite” from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Kahyoreigetsu” once per turn.

We made it to the last few History Archive cards with the Arc-V era cards, and we start the Arc-V reviews with an Equip Spell for the 4 Braclet Girl archetypes: Kahyoreigetsu.

Kahyoreigetsu is an Equip Spell that lets you Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Fairy, Spellcaster, Winged Beast, or Beast-Warrior from your hand and equip this card to it, then you can return all Dragon monsters on the field to the hand. Basically a lot of random stuff if you didn’t watch Arc-V and know the 4 types you summon go with Melodious, Windwitch, Lyrilusc, and/or Lunalight, plus the bouncing of all Dragons basically counters Odd-Eyes, Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing, and Starving Venom… or even Z-ARC himself I guess. It’s a good extender for the 4 Types I guess, and pretty solid if your opponent is heavy on their use of Dragon monsters. Finally, during the End Phase of the turn this card was sent to the graveyard and remains there, you can add any Polymerization Spell, Fusion Spell, or Fusion Parasite from your Deck to your hand. I guess it makes the Windwitch and Lyrilusc Fusions more useful in their own archetypes and of course we already know both Melodious and Lunalight are Fusion archetypes. Didn’t think we’d get a Fusion Parasite searcher at any point, but the Braclet Girls were hypnotized with Fusion Parasite, so there’s that. Hard once per turn on each effect, which is fine. It’s an alright card, mainly used to help extend plays for any Deck using the aforementioned 4 Types, doesn’t even have to be the ones from the anime. You could also counter Dragons and search for your Fusion goodstuff at least as well, so that’s also a thing. Play it as you see fit, to be honest.

Art: 5/5 Yep, there’s all 4 of the Braclet Girls from Arc-V. I basically explained all the other references in the review with the Types and the Fusion Parasite stuff.
