The latest member of the swoopy mythic dragon family, Terror of the Peaks offers a lot of interesting abilities. A sort of soft removal shield (do you really want to aim that spell at me?) and Warstorm Surge in the same cuddly package is a nice deal for five mana, and that sets aside that Terror of the Peaks is capable of swooping early and often as an evasive flier. It gives up stupid power for a lot of intrigue and interesting application of its abilities, and I can see the Terror of the Peaks wreaking plenty of havoc over its time in Standard.

Constructed: 3.75 (if it has a home, it’s going to be nuts)
Casual: 4.75
Limited: 5
Multiplayer: 3.5
Commander. 4.25

I like this guy’s abilities a lot. He has resistance to one of dragons’ traditional weaknesses, namely the efficient removal instant; 3 life is non-trivial for opponents, especially since you’ll likely have other damage spells, and the ability means that he’ll almost always deal damage no matter what. The added Pandemonium/Warstorm Surge style ability is, to put it mildly, insane – in the right deck. It makes him a potential combo card as much as a midrange card, and if you can double up on that effect, like with the original Purphoros in Commander, you’ll wipe out entire herds of opponents.
