This is not the kind of card that shakes up formats in a seismic manner, especially if your reference is things like Ikoria‘s companion cards. What it does do is add an additional dimension to a pre-existing dimension of white cards – nothing on here is really much different from a card you could have seen five years ago, except for the part where you can draw extra cards if you are higher than the noted life total. That might encourage a linear deck designed to ensure that, since your opponent is likely trying to knock you down. But too much of that will make your deck less good at doing other things, making Sigarda’s Splendor a potential “trap” for deckbuilders. If you can avoid that, it may help keep you moving and feel quite transgressive for a white card; but if you ever fall too far below a high noted life total, the part that remains active will feel quite underwhelming.

Controversial opinion time: white needs more cards like Dauntless Avenger and fewer off-brand Phyrexian Arenas.

A white card that actually can net card advantage? Sigarda’s Splendor is a card seemingly tailored for white and white-red Commander players, a way to eke out card advantage without dipping into other colors. If you finish a turn cycle with more life than you started with, you get another card, and it can actually track from the turn it comes in. The incidental life gain from casting white spells helps this card a bit more and lets it function without additional support, though it feels more ancillary. I think this is a clear Commander plant, too slow to be a reliable source of advantage in Standard, but I reckon the upside might lead people to fiddling with it on occasion.
