Hello Pojo Fans,

Neo Space Connector is a card the EHERO players that play the Neos side of the archetype have waited for.

Special Summon ability of a E-HERO Neos or Neo-Spacian off the Normal Summon sets up many different plays, or a simple aggro play.

If you need a Neo-Spacian or a E-HERO Neos that is in the gave, you can simply pop this card and trade it for something better, although it’s summoned in defense position. This card has cheeky plays written all over it. Special Summon Air Hummingbird and gain an instant 2500LP. Special Summon Aqua Dolphin and pop a monster in your opponents hand and deal 500LP damage. After these plays you can go into a Link 2 for further plays. The pop to Special Summon ability is more usfeul after you have a few monsters in your grave, and helpful to recycle a Neo-Spacian monster that ended up in the graveyard. This play is almost the same as the first play as you can repeat the cheeky plays. Easily searchable, Special Summon effect straight-away or a deck thin, and a pop to Special Summon ability that can be used once per turn.

Where E-HERO Stratos was the mainstay for E-HEROS, Neo Space Connector is this to Neos.

I do love when we review new cards for older yet popular archetypes. New Space Connector is a Level 4 Light Warrior-type monster with 800 Atk and 1800 Def. The stats are average, but the effects are worth it. Normal Summoning this allows you to Special Summon Elemental HERO Neos or a Neo-Spacian monster from your hand or deck in Def position. Already neutral for advantage and there is no restriction on any further summoning. Then, Connector can tribute itself to Special Summon the same kinds of monsters from the grave in Def position. The grave monsters are targeted, but it’s still worth it. Each effect is once per turn. Neo Space Connector is an excellent combo card or extender. Even outside of the deck, Connector could be splashed as an engine to use one monster from the hand to get two on the field. Go into Links or Contact Fuse with whatever you end up Special Summoning. There are no real costs to the effects, and there are no detriments to using them. Run all three in any deck that can fit this Connector.

With the Neo-Spacian/Neos support coming, I thought we’d look at the preview card from Savage Strike that was a part of that support, Neo Space Connector.

Neo Space Connector is a Level 4 LIGHT Warrior with 800 ATK and 1800 DEF. ATK is poor, but DEF is solid, and I like the LIGHT/Warrior combination. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Neo-Spacian or Elemental HERO Neos from your hand or deck in Defense Position. Literally a Tour Guide for Neos. This is commonly used in the meta with Aqua Dolphin for Isolde because Aqua Dolphin for some reason isn’t an Aqua monster and instead is a Warrior. That play can be useful in the Neos strategy for opening up 2 zones for Neos Fusions while having Aqua Dolphin in the GY to use Miracle Contact to help summon Aqua Neos, Storm Neos, or Cosmo Neos (which is in Savage Strike). You can also tribute Neo Space Connector to revive any Neo-Spacian or Elemental HERO Neos from the GY in Defense Position. If you summon Neos with one of the effects and then revive a Neo-Spacian with another, you got an instant Contact Fusion, which is nice for Neos cause before it was difficult to Contact Fuse, but the new support makes getting the fusions out easier. The best one to summon might be Air Neos when your opponent is ahead of you in LP, or Grand Neos to bounce a card back to the opponent’s hand. Neo-Space Connector is a phenomenal card that probably should of been locked to its archetype by preventing Link Summoning, but it does help the Neos archetype that you can use it for Links, cause those extra zones for Extra Deck summons can help.

Advanced Rating: 4.5/5

Art: 4/5 Anything in the Neo-Spacian archetype that isn’t Neos and the fusions seems to be very cute in my opinion.

Look, it’s a mini Neos!  Neo Space Connector is a Level 4, Light attributed Warrior with 800 attack and 1800 defense.  So let’s see…a Normal Summon of this card gives a Special Summon of a Neo-Spacian or of E-Hero Neos from your Deck, in defense position.  There’s the connector part, connecting you to Neos himself or one of the little guys.

The second effect, similar to the first, lets Connector Tribute himself to Special Summon (again) either a Neo-Spacian of Neos from your Graveyard, still in Defense position.  This card clearly screams for abuse and combos in the Contact Fusion side of things, and even in having to give up your Normal Summon to do it, you’re going to Special Summon twice (most likely) after.

That should be enough for whatever combo/Contact Fusion Hero you’re going for, and being able to pull that off should generate you some advantage, depending on whatever it is you need to do.  There’s a Hero for everything, especially when it comes to the Contact Fusion mechanic.  In an absolute terrible, worst case scenario pinch, he’s still a decent defender too, with the 1800 defense.  Good card for Neos/Hero players though

Rating:  4.25/5  Completely combo oriented, as said, but damn good at what he does

Art:  4/5  Mini Neos, the space is cool, as is the star in his hand
