Although I like the effect and it’s a very intriguing cost, Tilonalli’s Skinshifter is perhaps very slightly more limited than it looks at first glance. If the creature it’s copying has an ability that triggers whenever it attacks, the Skinshifter won’t get it – it only becomes the creature after it’s declared as an attacker, thus too late. However, there are still plenty of things you can do with it. It inherits any activated abilities or leaves-play triggers for the duration of the combat, and sometimes you really just need the simplicity and elegance of turning one 6/6 trampler into two.
