It’s interesting how this card clearly interacts with sets like Innistrad, even though it narrowly missed sharing a Standard environment with a block set on that plane. To be fair, it interacts more with things like flashback than with the mechanical themes of the Shadows over Innistrad block, but that just means that it’ll be a candidate for formats with older cards and larger card pools. I think it could end up being a sleeper hit in Commander, where we see a lot of graveyard shenanigans involving not only spells and creatures in graveyards, but also sacrificing lots of creatures (where the second ability will make people think twice).
