Hello Pojo Fans,

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter for those who celebrate it. On vacation last week into this week so sorry for the absence.

Madolche Petingcessoeur has decent stats being a 1400/1400 level 4 within the archetype, none of the Madolche cards are going to be big boss monsters within the Main Deck. Shuffle back ability like all monsters within the archetype. Great first turn monster to have with an ability to Special Summon when no monsters are in your grave. When you Special Summon Petingcesseur you have the ability to have an instant Link option, as long as it is a Madolche monster. You can also Xyz or Synchro, but with the Level drop of that monster by 1, you will need another monster if going for your Rank Madolche monster. Being locked into the archetype isn’t too bad for the rest of the turn. The easiest choice is Fresh Sistart with her not needing matching Levels and opening up two more zones for you to work with. However, with Petingcessoeur’s power being its Special Summon ability alongside pulling from the deck and Special Summoning, you can still make your Rank 4 Queen Tiaramisu and then go into your Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode if you want.

First it was Anjelly that the deck needed, then as the game changed they needed more. Petingcessoeur opens up great first-turn Link Summon ability for the deck while still allowing them to make a strong field despite its lock-in restriction for the archetype.

Happy Monday! Madolche Petingcessoueur is starting a variety week. She’s a Level 4 Earth Fairy-type monster with 1400 Atk and 1400 Def. Not very good stats but her effects really speed up the deck a lot. First, if she is destroyed by the opponent she is supposed to shuffle herself from the grave back to the deck. Nothing new there, and there are archetype cards that can work around that. Second, if your grave is devoid of monster cards, you can Special Summon her from your hand. Free first turn Special Summons are very good. Again, the archetype tends to empty its grave so this should also happen later in the game. Third, you get to Special Summon a different Madolche monster from your hand or deck if Petingcessoueur is Special Summoned in any way. The new Madolche is reduced by 1 level and you can’t Special Summon anything else except Madolche monsters for the rest of the turn. You could go crazy on your turn, use Monster Reborn or something on this, and then continue to go Madolche crazy. The non-re-shuffle effects are hard once per turns, but she definitely gives some much needed support to a deck that keeps getting cuter. Run all 3 to increase the chance of seeing her in the opening hand.

Score: 4/5     Art: 4/5 They’re all very cute.

Here’s a week where we take cards from Savage Strike that belong to archetypes and give them a day for reviewing since they didn’t get much support or I just couldn’t fit the whole archetype in while making sure other things don’t feel too out of date. The first day is the new Madolche support, one of my favorite archetypes, and their new support card is Madolche Petingcessoeur.

Petingcessoeur is a Level 4 EARTH Fairy with 1400 ATK and DEF. Stats are meh on a Level 4, but Chateau makes them 1900 which is nice, EARTH is a good attribute, and having more Fairy types is good for Madolches with Madolche Ticket. Petingcessoeur has that effect all main deck Madolches have where if they are destroyed by the opponent (battle or card effect) they shuffle back into the deck, or they can go to the hand if you control Chateau. This card has two effects that are both hard once per turn effects.

  1. If you have no monsters in your graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.
  2. If you Special Summon this card, you can Special Summon any Madolche from your deck, but reduce its Level by 1 and you cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn except Madolches.

The first effect can be easy to do when Madolches being destroyed means they don’t stay in the grave, so your only real worry is Xyz Materials being detached, Link Materials, or Hand Traps, but you have Hootcake to help prevent that. The second effect is great for extending plays and it turns Magaline into a one card Link-2 (the Madolche Link obviously) with a Tiaramisu or their new Rank 4 in the next set for a Turn 1 play the archetype needed with a Ticket or Chateau on the field that will be protected by your Link-2. The best thing to summon with this from the deck might be Anjelly, which becomes Level 3, but you’ll tribute the Anjelly to summon a Hootcake that’s live with the Anjelly in the grave to summon a Messengelato for a search for Ticket or Chateau. Thankfully the Special Summon doesn’t have to be off its own effect so Ticket is an option, assuming you have a Fairy Madolche on the field, or you can use Mewfeuille to summon it from the hand or Hootcake to get it out of the deck. You could also summon Puddingcess from the deck as a Level 4 for a Rank 4 Madolche that you can rank up into Puddingcess-choco-a-la-mode so it’s live with that Puddingcess attached as material. Petingcessoeur really helps Madolches out in the Link Era and I hope to see more support for them even after their new Rank 4.

Advanced Rating: 4.5/5

Art: 4.25/5 Madolche art is pretty cute, I don’t think there’s a bad Madolche artwork.

It’s a random week here on CotD, but we’ve got some fun cards, and we open with the ever delicious (pun intended) Madolche Petingcessoeur.  This little Fairy is Earth attributed and Level 4, with 1400 attack and defense, and has a variety of sweet tricks to satiate your appetite.  If destroyed by your opponent’s card (no specification as to how) and if it goes to your Graveyard, she shuffles back into your Deck.

Then, we see two effects built in, each which can be used once per turn.

*If you have no Monsters in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your Hand–which is good.  It makes this a better play earlier on in a game, as a free Special Summon is always good.

*Second, if this card is Special Summoned (and not just from the Hand, but at all) you can Special Summon another Madolche from your Hand or Deck (excluding herself) and if so, the Level of said Monster is reduced by 1.

You’re prevented from Special Summoning outside the theme, but that’s no problem.  You’re going for an XYZ or Link here anyway, and you get all kinds combo potential.  This is a fantastic card for a theme.  She only speeds things along and opens up new Monsters and new plays.  Two of these might be enough in the Deck, but three could work too.

Rating:  4.5/5

Art:  5/5  The food aside, these are gorgeous little Fairies
