Hello Pojo Fans,

Cyber Dragon Nachster is a good piece of Cyber Dragon support.

Machine Duplication and One for One target, it is widely searchable within its archetype and combos within the strategy that revolves around “Cyber Dragon” and “Cyber Dragon” monsters. Locked into Machine-Type monsters off of Nachster’s effect isn’t anything bad, that’s the only type you are likely to summon. Special Summon effect off either Normal or Special summon gives this little machine some power behind it. If you’ve gone for your Nova or Infinity plays already and still can summon Nachster, it will get back any 2100 ATK or DEF Machine in your grave. This can get you back your Nova or Infinity, or get a Cyber Twin Dragon back or the Infinitrack monsters like Smasher or Slicer. Not sure why you’d have the chance, but you can also get back Invoked Mechaba. When a 200/200 Level 1 can bring back a monster like Cyber Dragon Infinity off of its summon to the field alone, the monster is good.

I do love an easy Monday. Cyber Dragon Nachster is a Level 1 Light Machine-type monster with 200 Atk and 200 Def. The stats are nothing, but the effects are what make Nachster an easy triplicate in Cyber Dragon decks. Firstly, it’s name is Cyber Dragon on the field or in the grave. The more Cyber Dragons in the deck the better for all the Fusion and just beater plays in general. Then, it can Special Summon itself from your hand at the cost of a monster from your hand. I like that the cost is very generic as it makes Nachster fit into some other decks. Upon Normal or (any) Special Summon, you can revive a targeted Machine with 2100 Atk or Def from your grave. After using that effect you can only Special Summon Machines. Revival is very useful and the options extend beyond Cyber Dragon Machines. There’s an Orcust XYZ Monster, a Mechaba, and other future Machines that Nachster will always be able to grab. It doesn’t even matter that each effect is once per turn, because the play in itself should be good enough during your turn to really help you win. Like I said, Nachster is run in triplicate on an easy review day. Looks cool too. Happy Monday! Happy Belated Father’s Day Yesterday to all the good Fathers whether you are one or have one!

A week full of some random cards here, starting off with a great piece of Cyber Dragon support I referenced back when we did a Cyber Dragon week after CYHO was released, here we have Cyber Dragon Nachster.

Nachster is a Level 1 LIGHT Machine with 200 ATK and DEF. Stats are low for a Level 1 as always, but they make Nachster here a Machine Dupe target, and I love the LIGHT Machine combo. This card’s name is treated as Cyber Dragon while on the field or in the graveyard, meaning you now have three targets with Machine Duplication to get two Cyber Dragons out of your deck now, assuming your monster’s effects don’t get negated on the field. You can discard another monster from your hand to Special Summon this from the hand, which is nice to not waste a Normal Summon on this if you rather Normal Summon something else, plus this can get you a Cyber Dragon Core effect later or a search off of Cyber Dragon Herz. Upon being Normal or Special Summoned, you can summon any Machine with 2100 ATK or DEF from your graveyard, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn except Machines. A lovely revival effect here to immediately set up something like Cyber Dragon Sieger or to get another body on field while getting a material for Cyber Dragon Nova and Infinity, which should be noted this thing can straight up revive Sieger, Nova, and Infinity. I’m sure it can revive Cyber Twin Dragon as well since it has 2100 DEF and no clause that says it can only be summoned via Fusion Summon. There are probably more Machines with 2100 ATK or DEF, but you’ll mostly focus on Cyber Dragon monsters with this. Each effect of Nachster that is activated are hard once per turns, as they probably should be, but it doesn’t diminish the value of Nachster in the Cyber Dragon deck, as it helps make said deck a better rogue option than it was before. Very good card for the archetype.

Kicking things off this week is another ‘I think I’m Cyber Dragon but I’m really not’.  Nachster is a Light, Machine Monster, with 200 attack and defense, and Level 1.  Given that 200 factor won’t do much on either side, let’s see if it does anything worthwhile.  So, a discard of another card (any other card) lets you Special Summon itself to the Field (from your Hand).

Special Summoning is good, and you’re probably wondering why you have to discard for a Special Summon of a Level 1 Monster, but the next effect takes care of answering that.  This effect is if this card is Normal or Special Summoned, and the Special Summon doesn’t even have to be through its own effect…you get to Special Summon a Cyber Dragon err a Machine Monster with 2100 attack or defense from your Grave.

Said Special Summon is a Targeting effect, just keep that in mind.  You see a generic ‘no Special Summon outside of the type’ effect attached to that, but that’s hardly an issue.  Your Cyber Dragon is going to XYZ (most likely, perhaps Link) into something probably immediately upon being brought to the Field.  Naturally, too, each effect is once per turn.  It’s a little card that can set up some big plays, and quick at it too.

Art:  Pretty background, like the pink dots.  This must be the next stage up from Cyber Larva, being a little bigger and brighter, in addition to more colorful.  4/5 also
