KONAMI announced the winners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship (WCS) 2025, which reached its thrilling finale on Sunday, August 31, at Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, France.
This year’s event was packed with unexpected moments, crowning new champions across all four categories, and setting the stage for an even bigger 2026.
The WCS 2025 saw intense competition across Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS (SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL), and Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL. Notably, Julien Kehon from the United States continued a winning streak for the US in the TCG, while Philipp Thomas (Germany) and Kenya Nagatani (Japan) took home the DUEL LINKS titles in SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL, respectively. The MASTER DUEL 3v3 championship went to the Ragnarok team (Italy, Sweden, Croatia).

- A major announcement during the livestream confirmed that the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 will take place in Tokyo, Japan, promising an exciting return to the franchise’s roots.
- KONAMI teased an exciting new partnership between the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game and eFootball™ and eFootball™ CHAMPION SQUADS, featuring Neymar Jr. and five French national team players.
- The WCS also marked the launch of a limited-edition apparel collection with Copenhagen-based streetwear label FINE CHAOS, fusing their industrial aesthetic with iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! artwork.
