Parallel Teleport – #DUAD-EN059
Tribute 1 Psychic monster with a Level; Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower Psychic monster from your Deck or Extra Deck, then if the original Level of the Tributed monster is different from that of the Special Summoned monster on the field, you lose LP equal to the difference x 1000. You cannot Special Summon the turn you activate this card, except Psychic monsters. You can only activate 1 “Parallel Teleport” per turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Parallel Teleport is a piece of support for any Psychic-based archetype that doesn’t mind paying a chunk of LP to get to what they want.
A Quick-Play that trades a Psychic on your field that has a Level for any Level 7 or lower Psychic monster from the the Extra Deck or Deck is pretty absurd. The catch? The higher the Level difference, the more LP you lose x1000. Obviously you don’t want to trade a Level 1 Psychic for a Level 7 Psychic from the Deck or Extra Deck. However, there’s plenty you can do, starting with searching this card for free with Mind Procedure while it has Telekenetic Charging Cell attached. Paying 2000LP may not be the best thing for you with Mind Procedure and then dropping up to 3000LP more if you want a Level 7 Psychic for Mind Procedure, but spending LP hasn’t really ever stopped players before.
As a Quick-Play it can allow you to push for an OTK, and there are Psychic-based archetypes like Virtual World PUNK, and Daigusto that can trade and not lose too many LP if any at all when going after stuff within their archetype. Outside the archetype, losing up to 2000LP for a new monster, especially when attacking directly is worth the trade. In addition, Kashtira are also Psychic and Kozmo as well, though Kozmo would be spending more LP with only Level 4 and lower within the archetype being Psychic, while the Kashtira are Level 7 and would likely max out at 2000LP lost.
There is so much you can do with this card if you are running Psychic monsters. It is a seriously good weapon as long as you have the Life Points for it. It has a wide reach with the Deck and Extra Deck and while you’ll have to run a few choices which you likely are able to get to without the cost, this is a new way to give the archetypes some added firepower.

Midweek brings us a new Teleport card to summon your Psychics from the Deck to go alongside Emergency Teleport in Parallel Teleport.
Parallel Teleport is a Quick-Play Spell that lets you tribute a Psychic monster to summon a Level 7 or lower Psychic monster from the Deck, then you lose LP equal to the difference between the original Level of the tributed monster and summoned monster x1000, also you can only Special Summon Psychics the turn you use this. So now we can tutor for any Level 7 or lower Psychic instead of any Level 3 or lower, but in exchange you get a pretty hefty LP cost and Psychic lock. Still, a way to summon more extenders for your combos is nice, as is summoning Kashtira Fenrir or Kashtira Unicorn directly from the Deck. You can also at least bypass the LP cost if the monster you summon has the same Level as what you tribute. The Psychic lock is unfourtunate, but there are decent Psychic monsters for an end board in the Extra Deck, so it isn’t the worst Type to be locked into, though limits its use in a Deck like P.U.N.K. and especially Kozmo. HOPT on this card as well, learning from the past mistakes of how powerful Emergency Teleport was on release. Parallel Teleport is a solid card, mainly for pure Psychic Decks, getting you to a majority of the Psychics in the game that either extend your plays or make for solid end board pieces. Probably want to stick to pure Psychics for this, but it is a staple for them at least.
As for Genesys, this likely becomes the premiere extender for Psychics since it costs no points compared to Emergency Teleport, and I’m sure a pure Psychic pile can do better in that format than Advanced.

With Psychic support comes another Teleport card in Parallel Teleport, a Quick-Play Spell part of the Teleport mini-archetype. Mind Procedure will search it directly, though in some combo lines you might want to Set it with Serene Psychic Sorceress (as a Quick-Play, you won’t be able to activate it immediately and extend. Cowabummer!). Parallel Teleport can only be activated once per turn and will lock you into Special Summoning Psychic monsters the entire turn you use it, so there’s no point in holding it for a board capper in hybrid builds without Psychic monsters. It has a single effect on activation, Tributing a Psychic monster with a level to Special Summon any level 7 or lower Psychic monster from your deck or Extra Deck. Afterwards, it’ll also burn you for 1000 Life Points times the difference between the levels Tributed monster and the summon monster, which can end up being pretty nasty if you Tribute, say, Serene Psychic Girl for a level 7. If the level is the same, obviously you won’t have to lose anything. Most of the time, you’ll be using this as an emergency combo fixer– it can cheat out both Serene Psychic Sorceress and Silent Psychic Magician to continue your plays, and being a Quick-Play Spell that Tributes for cost can help Procedure and Psychic Girl dodge disruptions as well. P.U.N.K. hybrids can also use it to get to Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin if you’re unable to summon P.U.N.K. JAM Dragon Drive. In a pinch, it’ll also field Psychic Girl or Procedure themselves, though hopefully you’ll never have to do that. Despite its combo fixing potential, needing to Tribute a monster makes it a very tough card to sell at 3 copies, so I’d just stick with 1 as a regular extender; think of dodging disruption as a nice bonus.
+Powerful extender that can cheat out playmakers
+Can help your starters dodge disruption like Effect Veiler and Infinite Impermanence
-Brutal Psychic lock for the entire turn
-LP penalty can be harsh when Tributing low-level monsters
