A.I. Connect – #ALIN-EN054
Reveal 1 Cyberse monster in your hand; apply this effect based on its Attribute, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, except Cyberse monsters.
● DARK: Special Summon the revealed monster, and if you do, add 1 Level 4 or lower non-DARK Cyberse monster from your Deck to your hand.
● Other: Shuffle the revealed monster into the Deck, and if you do, add 1 “@Ignister” monster with a different Attribute from your Deck to your hand.
You can only activate 1 “A.I. Connect” per turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,
A.I. Connect is one of the cards you could search off Firewall Saber Dragon being used as a Link Material, and is one of the A.I. Spell Cards that can be run in all Cyberse strategies, not only @Ignister.
A.I. Connect needs you to have a Cyberse in hand to be able to activate it, so it isn’t something you can topdeck without something in your hand. Assuming you can activate it, as with several of the A.I. card effects, the Attribute of the Cyberse monster you revealed will determine the effect. Locking yourself into Cyberse monsters for the turn won’t hurt much either. Anything other than a DARK Cyberse results in a shuffle-back of the revealed Cyberse and a search of a different Attribute of an @Ignister monster. If you revealed a DARK Cyberse monster, you get a Special Summon of that monster and then a Level 4 or lower non-DARK Cyberse gets added to the hand from the Deck. Both are pretty good options, though the DARK option has far more play in the current meta.
Reveal any Maliss to Special Summon that Maliss and then get another Cyberse that isn’t DARK to your hand. Backup Secretary fits the bill for this, as she is a LIGHT Cyberse and can Special Summon herself if you control a Cyberse. Code of Soul, while being more a Salamangreat monster, can be an interaction during your opponent’s turn to enable a Link-3 Summon. Dotscraper was run in Maliss early on and could still be a target with this card’s DARK effect, and Lady Debug could be a search for a Normal Summon that would search a Level 3 or lower Cyberse monster to your hand.
Outside Maliss or DARK Cyberse monsters, this is of course all about Ignister, enabling you to get to any Ignister monster in your Deck that you want. The EARTH Attribute has three members in the archetype in the Main Deck, so you won’t be able to access one of them if you cycle back something like Doshin, but besides that you’ll have no issue with finding a target. It’s a shame that this effect wasn’t a swap for a different Attribute Cyberse monster, because then A.I. Connect could be run in any Cyberse build as a generic swap card for whatever target you want. It would be a -1 until the monster you swapped could potentially give you advantage, but that isn’t always a guarantee.
A.I. Connect is another one of those cards that, while not completely for Maliss, could be thrown into Maliss. The best part of this card’s effects is geared towards DARK Cyberse, and the DARK Cyberse monster are advantage-gaining cards. It would be best to utilize this card with them. However, it will almost-certainly see all its play in @Ignister. Searching any Attribute at the cost of cycling back a different Attribute in your hand is easy for this archetype and they could also run a few DARK Cyberse to ensure they get the best out of Connect.

Midweek gives us a new A.I. Spell since they go hand and hand with @Ignisters, A.I. Connect.
A.I. Connect is a Normal Spell you can activate by revealing a Cyberse monster in your hand, applying an effect based on the monster’s Attribute, but you’ll be locked to only Cyberse monsters to Special Summon. If you reveal a DARK monster, you can summon the revealed monster and search a non-DARK Level 4 or lower Cyberse from the Deck, giving you a way to Special Summon a DARK Cyberse that you otherwise don’t have any other Special Summon effects for and getting a non-DARK Cyberse that can extend your plays on its own. If you revealed any other Attribute, you shuffle the monster into the Deck to add an @Ignister with a different Attribute from your Deck to your hand. An inferior effect, but it can also swap a brick for something to help your plays like Pikari @Ignister, Achichi @Ignister, or Backup @Ignister at the very least. HOPT on this card, of course. It’s more solid support, especially if you do reveal a DARK monster with this effect to get the most value from it, but the other half of the effect can be handy for swapping Cyberse monsters you don’t need in your hand, like Mathmech Sigma or something you want to specifically search, for an @Ignister to help your plays. It’s searchable, but fairly strong, so play a number by prefrence for your Cyberse Decks.

A.I. Connect continues our @Ignister coverage– as part of the A.I. mini-archetype, it’s not a @Ignister card by name but still strongly associated with them. You’ll be able to search it with Pikari @Ignister and Firewall Saber Dragon, though whether you want to search it or not will completely depend on your hand and combo line. Connect can only be activated once per turn and has a single effect, revealing a Cyberse monster in your hand and applying a wildly different effect depending on the Attribute of the monster you reveal, though either way you’ll be locked into Special Summoning Cyberse monsters for the rest of the turn (quite a big deal for Maliss since you want to summon Haggard Lizardose). If you reveal a DARK monster, you’ll Special Summon it then search any non-DARK level 4 or lower Cyberse monster from your deck– basically, the low-level @Ignister monsters. Otherwise, you’ll shuffle the revealed monster into the deck to search any @Ignister monster monster with a different attribute. In pure @Ignister decks, the card is pretty straightforward; either you start with a DARK @Ignister monster (ideally Backup @Ignister) and get a free search, or you trade an @Ignister for Backup or Achichi @Ignister or Pikari so you can start your combos. Outside of @Ignister, it’s been floated as a potential tech for Maliss, since it’ll let you field your main starters (Maliss P Dormouse and Maliss P White Rabbit) without eating your Normal Summon and search Cyberse extenders like Mathmech Circular or Dotscaper while you’re at it. It has seen play in a few topping decks, but overall it hasn’t been as widespread as it could be– no doubt because it locks you out of Haggard Lizardose, which has proven to be a staple combo piece in Maliss that makes Cyberse locks a liability in optimal decks. Connect is a funky card that is either very strong or underwhelming depending on your hand; I think if you’re confident in using it as an extender, you’ll want to play 3 copies, but if you just want it for specific combo lines, you could just play 1. Very hard card to judge!
+Can set up powerful combo lines or fix combo lines without using your Normal Summon
+Easy to access through @Ignister cards
-Awkward to use depending on your hand
-Works best with a high volume of DARK Cyberse monsters
