Kotetsu Hagane

Wait a sec... this guy looks familiar... Oh yeah! He's a copy of a bad ninja! Read yesterday's review.

Constructed: 1/5
Limited: 1.5/5

PS: They only get the plus .5 because I think they're the only turn two drop in the set.

I'm going to go ahead and do a card review on two cards namely because everything about them is almost identical. Today's cards are Izumo Kamizuki and Kotetsu Hagane, Kotetsu technically Friday's card but when you read the review, you'll see why I'm reviewing Kotetsu today. Looking at these cards, I felt like I was looking at the same card really. Kotetsu and Izumo are both Leaf/Chunin/Male, nothing really special here, with 3/1 healthy stats and 2/1 injured stats which are standard Chunin ninja stats. Both have Genjutsu as their combat attribute so one could use cards with Genjutsu including a Fire card that I can't remember the name of off-hand but if used by a ninja with Genjutsu(doesn't require the attribute though), can take -3/-3 off the opposing ninja's stats. Both are also Turn 2, which may hurt considering the better ninja you could run in Lightning and Fire, and both can pump up a ninja +1/0 for a discard of two cards, which is why you may consider running other ninja. If you build a deck with Lightning and/or Fire(and if you pulled a Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy Super Rare, you may consider it), you may opt to run either Iruka Umino, Scapegoat or Iruka Umino, Reward instead of Izumo and Mozuku, Discovery instead of Kotetsu. Run these guys over other options in a Fire/Lightning deck if you need one more ninja other than Kakashi for the Genjutsu combat attribute. Otherwise, there are better options for Turn 2 in Fire and Lightning. By the way, Izumo is Lightning and Kotetsu Fire, just forgot to state that earlier as the only difference between them.

Limited:2/5(When having Turn 2 ninja is important)
Constructed:1/5(Lightning and Fire just have better options)

Nogard

not much to say that wasnt allready said about this since it is the same as yesterdays card just fire.

It is useful in mirror matches forcing your opponent to use jutsu first, but who wants to use jutsu second anyway.

Limited: 2.5/5(you will need to hit every drop but the discard might hurt you)
Constructed: 2/5(better choices for 2 drop)
art: 4.5/5 (what a G)
Beastly Mage Hello, my fellow Pojo-ers (is that a real word?!). Beastly Mage's the name, and Naruto's the game (yeah, I know that was extremely corny). I hope to be able to write some more reviews for Pojo. Now, on with today's review.

Kotetsu Hagane [Spectator]

Not much to say about this card. I mean, the effect is only usable if he's a Stand-By Ninja, and not a battling ninja. Pumping up a ninja is good. But, +1/0 by discarding a card from your deck?! On top of that, the effect's not valid. No mental power or proctor status like his effect-less version, meaning he can't use certain jutsus (Cheating comes to mind). Genjutsu combat attribute is good for certain things, but overall, this card is not that good. If you wanna use a Fire Chunin, use Mozuku.

Ratings:
Constructed: 2/5 (Fire-based deck) 1/5 (every other deck)
Draft: 2/5
