Subject: Spell Crazy-by Daniel Seghers-Invitational,Gretna LA


Matthew and Eric came to my house cause they needed a ride. Alright so I got to Rising Phoenix at about 1o'clock. The Invitational didn't start 'till 2 and since we had an hour, we went to Bud's Broiler. After we ate, I practiced with Eric and then the regional started.

Round 1:
So here we go! (Cue Dramatic Music)

Spell Crazy vs. Andrew AKA Ty ( Red and Black )
Since this is an Invitational it is SINGLE matches.

He starts beating be around with pyrofighter until he hits a Snare. That is where I get him so no shields and then swing for the win with Lancer.

Round 2:
Spell Crazy vs. Ray (Mono - Blue)
This was the funniest match I had all day and so I will only tell you how I won.

He uses a crystal memory, two Brain Serums, and dadadadum................FOUR Energy Streams. So what do you think happened? [Insert Jeopardy Theme] He decked-out. Poor Ray finished 0-5:(. Yeah now I'm......

Round 3:
Spell Crazy vs. Eric ( Blue Black )Yeah the same one that rode with me.

So he basically controlled me the whole time until he ran out of cards. I then am able to get 2 Fad's and a Lancer with a whole bunch of mini creatures(1000 + 2000 AT). He has two Bloody Quito's and a Gregorian Worm and I have two Aqua Guards. I attack with Lancer. Then I attack with the two Fad's, but he blocks both so now I have 4 monsters that can attack to his 3 remaining shields. OF yeah and I have ZERO shields. So I end my turn ( Forgetting that now he has a hand=Knob mistake) He summons Horrid Worm and evolves it into Chaos.

After I flipped his shields and his only shield trigger was Gregorian Worm. x (


Round 4:
Spell Crazy vs. Forgot ( Blue Black)
Yay two Blue Blacks in a row![SARCASM]

This one was close but in the end I was able to get him with Aqua Hulcus and Lancer, but not after he got me to no shields and I was saved because he would've had another monster to attack me, but my last shield was Natural Snare Baby!!!!

Round 5:

Spell Crazy vs. Some weird dude running 3 Civ

I can't remember much but I know I won 4-0 in shields.

4-1 = INVITE!!!

Okay to make this really short this was a Dayshafu of what happened in Round 1. I 2-0'd him.


Spell Crazy vs. Norman ( Blue Black)
So here is the finals.

Duel 1:
He really never had a chance. I Coriled him way to much and that was that. Soon enough he was top-decking and I wiped out all of his shields at once.

Duel 2:
This was close but in the end he got way to much advantage via Horrid Worms and Chaos Worms and pretty soon I was stuck.


Duel 3:
So it comes down to this last match.
We swap hitting shields and it is 3-3. Then I got my prayers opened up and draw some freaking awesome draws which allows me to win the INVITATIONAL!!

So I now am going to LA and you know the one I'm talking about. Los Angeles!!! Yeah and my mom said she will be able to come with me so hello LA.
