Article 215b - Gaming Terms

Well, I said on my previous article, that I'm gonna do my next article on Terminology of gaming. This article is for, but not limited to Duel Masters. Which means it works for all games. Not just DM.

Well, this is kinda a dictionary thing, so heres the most annoying and used term.

Owned - Of or belonging to oneself or itself

This is the term you hear when you get killed by your opponent. When you don't even do anything, as if you just shuffled your deck, dropped it on the table, and killed yourself. Though annoying, you most likely deserve hearing this. But remember, don't be a loser and say this all the time. Everyone enjoys the humourous use of it every now and then, but the rest of the time, its stupid.

Pwnd - See Owned.

Topdeck - To draw the best possible draw, just when you need it.

Topdeck Queen - Someone who cannot win without topdecking. Similar to a Lamer.

Lamer - Somone who wins by the cheapest means possible, everytime. Like Yata in Yu Gi Oh, or Blue/Green in Duel Masters.

Leet - Elite. Originated from Counterstrike and Hacking.

Tool - Used. Or to be used / in use. "Dang, you are such a tool, I own you noob.

Noob - Newbie. Someone who has no idea what they are doing. Or is acting like a loser. Talks trash without backing it up. Etc. Withdraws out of bets, etc etc.

Flame - To own relentlessly. As to the extent where is makes the judges mad. "You suck so much, dude. Your mom is hot." =/

Woot - Happy. This is the best way to celebrate a win.
Unless it's against a friend, and you can make fun of them without fearing for your life.

Thats it for now, theres alot more, but its like four years worth of knowledge.
