TGIF Everyone! I know I’m
glad because I’m off from work for five days
straight! What’s one of the first things to do on my
list, well, aside from sleep; I have a Kaijudo
tournament at my locals that I will be attending! I
will be running a Darkness/Water deck with some tech
choices here and there. I may throw in a couple
Crimson Wyvern if I know there will be some Light
Civ players; we’ll see. I’ll keep you all updated on
Twitter @Raijinku or I will briefly discuss it here
on Monday. Without further ado, today’s Card of the
Day is “Bronze-Arm Sabertooth”.
Bronze-Arm Sabertooth
(BAS for the rest of the article), is a Level 4
Beast Kin Evolution Creature from the Nature
Civilization; he has a Power of 7,000 and Double
Breaker. His special ability is called: “One with
Nature” and states: “If this creature would be
banished, put it into your mana zone instead.”
First of all, this is the
strongest evolution card in the game for four mana!
This card not only makes the early game difficult
for your opponent but if they happen to get rid of
it, it’s likely that it’s going into your mana zone
putting you ahead TWO TURNS! It is really easy to
get this guy out if you’re running Prickleback or
Moonhowler Tribe which cost one and two mana
respectively.
Another benefit of this
card is the ability to crash with another creature
of equal power to boost your mana. Also, it’s nice
knowing that your card won’t go to waste once your
play it or attack with it only to have it get hit in
the face by a shield blast.
Most decks that can use
this card will also utilize his big brother
Flamespike Tatsurion. While most players will do
what they can to deal with BAS, they’ll only be
paving the way for Flamespike. This card is an
amazing to use in a Beast Kin focused deck, not much
more to say about it, use three.
Ratings:
Constructed: 4.75/5.00
(BAS has speed, power, and
versatility and is practically a staple in any
Nature deck using Beast Kin. Even when he falls, he
still gives you something to remember him by; it’s
cheap, easy, and effective.)
Limited: 5.00/5.00
(Having a 7,000 Power creature with
Double Breaker on turn four is HUGE in limited play.
Even if it gets hit with Bone Blades/Terror
Pit/Etc., you get two free mana. This is a must for
all Nature Civilization decks that use Beast Kin and
there’s plenty in Evo-Fury.)
Have a great weekend
everyone; see you next week with more cards than you
can sink your teeth into!
