Death Phoenix

Intense Evil

By Death Phoenix

Let’s start off by looking at this card:

Name: Intense Evil

Cost: 3

Civilization: Darkness

Type: Spell

Rules Text:

Shield trigger (When this spell is put into your hand from your shield zone, you may cast it immediately for no cost.)

Destroy any number of your creatures. Then draw that many cards.

Flavor Text:

Every soul has a price-and today they're on sale!

Mana Number: 1

Artist: Dreamwave

Rarity: R

Collector Number: 61

Set: Stomp-a-Trons of Invincible Wrath

I think souls are priceless.

Anyway, this is a Shield Trigger, so that is good.

If you want to destroy Creatures in a time of need to acquire cards from your deck.  Of course, there is no guarentee that you will get the cards you want from your deck.  If you have massive creature field advantage and you want some cards, I can see where this would come into use.

It depends upon the field advantage you have at the time.  If you eliminate your Creatures, it just means your opponent will get to you a lot faster and finish you off faster.

Judgment time. . .

2/5 – again, it might be my lack of experience (that is possible), but I see this card as a hindrance more than a help.
