Knives101 Officer Demuto

Six mana to kill all creatures with 3000 power or less? Hmm. This card is pretty nice if you have a way of killing it. The Silphy like effect could backfire on you if your opponent removes it from the game. If your opponent has no weak creatures in play then they could destroy it, and make you waste a turn. Or even worse, they could bounce/corile it. Personally I think Slime Veil makes a better sweeper card than this. Which would you rather do? Force your opponent to ram his creatures into some blockers on turn four? Or wait until turn seven to kill your opponent's weenies (and maybe some of your own). Anyway this card is good for the late game. But it doesn't deserve to go into every deck out there. In fact I'd only deck it if I really needed it.

Rating: 3 (Slime Veil is way better.)

Kaijudo Chris 01-21-05: Sinister General Damudo

Overview: Sinister General Damudo - A replacement for the Vampire Silphy? Like Vampire Silphy, Sinister General Damudo has the ability to exterminate all creatures with power 3000 or less. So what's the difference between the two, you may ask? For starters, Sinister General Damudo must hit the graveyard before its effect pulls through. This can work to your advantage, whereas you have no choice with Vampire Silphy. This gives you a turn or two of preperation, for example, slamming your opponent with your 3000-or-less creatures before they become victoms of your own Sinister General Damudo. Or you may want to stock your field up with creatures who have effects when they're sent to the graveyard (ie Ouks, Vizier of Restoration & Mighty Shouter). Second of all, when compared to Vampire Silphy, it's more affordable (6 mana) and has a nice power (5000). 6 mana for 5000 power is understandable and is becoming more standard as the game progresses. This is great considering the effect (previously stated). All in all, Sinister General Damudo is a solid, weenie-killing creature that can comfortably fit into a darkness deck. Sinister General Damudo gets a high 4/5.

 Props: + Affordable - Vampire, what? + Weenie-Killer - Anti-Rush Quality! + 5000 Power - Not too low, not too high!

 Slops: - Self-Killer - Prepare yourself!
