Moonlight Flash- Uncommon- #14 base set

Today folks we have Moonlight Flash.

Well I'm split half and half on this card =/.  Tapping two creatures is good since it opens them up for attack, but is four mana worth the ability?  To be honest you probably wont even play this card till about your 6th turn, because first if you use it earlier you most likely will have to tap out, and not have any good creatures to kill the opponets on the field, and second you will probably want to kill one of your opponets bigger creatures, and they won't come out till turn 5-7.  I would probably prefer to play Solar Ray instead because it costs two less, even though it is only one monster, but it also has shield trigger which out weighs the scale a whole lot.  If this card had Shield Trigger I would say put 4 in any light deck, but it doesn't =/.

Ratings:
Constructed- 2/5 well... it just costs too much for this format.
Limited- 2.5/5 I almost gave it a 3, but Its four cost with no Shield Trigger made me lower it.

Final Thought- It is realy your choice wether you use this card or not.  I personaly won't but it is your choice.

Hydromorph Moonlight Flash

When our shop did our demo for this game, before it actually came out, Moonlight Flash was one of the best spells you could nab. For only 4 mana, you could tap any two of your opponents creatures, and usually knock them down, basically making it a 2-for-1 removal spell.

In constructed now, it might be a little too slow. In mono-light, you’ll probably be running a lot of blockers to block their things anyways. In dual colored light decks, you’ll probably just throw in Holy Awe, cuz it gets the job done much more efficiently. Also, Miele and Fonch have the tap a creature ability when they come into play, and are much more stable forms of this type of creature removal the Moonlight Flash, as you get a creature afterwards.

In draft, it’s becomes better, as there’s less options for creature removal of “tapping” effects. A solid addition to a light deck.

Constructed - 2

Limited - 4
