Knives101 Boltail Dragon

Boltail is a first for the Fire Civilization. He's the first creature with a solid attack power of 9000. Sure there's Ucarn, but Ucarn isn't very good. Losing two mana is very bad. If you need a way to deal with big creatures, and you don't have removal like Terror Pit or Natural Snare then you need a big creature of your own. Boltail suits this purpose for the fire civilization. Of course the Fire Civilization rushes mostly so this card would probably only see play in a Light/Fire deck that lacked Gran Gure, or Ladia Bale. Why would a Light/Fire deck not have Gran Gure or Ladia Bale? Because you might just want to make some room for other Light cards, and rely on your Fire monster to be your attacker when you "tap, and kill". Boltail isn't the greatest of creatures but I'm sure he has his uses. Especially in Fire/Light.

Here is the review. Chips didn't want to do this one.

Hey everyone! Fish here with a review of Boltail Dragon. It seems that every set they'll have a new Bol-something Dragon. Anyway, What we have here is vanilla. Another powerful Double Breaker Rare. It's a nice, even power for fire, but with creature power constantly rising, this card won't be as good as it's 1st set brother. Fire is rush. You won't want to have 7 mana in a game, but if you do, Boltail Dragon is a solid attacker that might get you out of a few tight spots. I give it a 3 out of 5. (X-Play reference)

Constructed: 3/5 Very plain.

Limited: 3/5 See above with less removal.
