Hello fellow duelists. Dark Jedi Master "Z" here and this is my first card of the day for Pojo and I am psyched. Let's get the formalities out of the way. I have probably met some of you at last year's North American Continental Championships, some of you even asked if I knew Lee Sandow who also reviews cards here. Yes, Lee and I are good friends along with Steven Cantrell, and a few others. We all duel together at Galactic Quest in Georgia.

Anyway, on to the card of the day today. Today's card is Nexus Charger. This card could be a little better. I think it is a tad bit over costed at 6, but let's take a look at the abilities.

First, it is a charger which we all know is way cool now and I see a lot of chargers played, Slash Charger (tomorrow's card of the day), Volcano Charger, and Corpse Charger to name a few. This charger allows you to place any card from your hand into your shields face-down. Let's be honest here, most players at turn 6 are top-decking unless someone was breaking your shields already and if that is the case, you probably have no shield-trigger in your hand or you would have used it when they broke it, in this case, all this card is going to do is buy you a very little amount of time cause if this has you place a shield face-down, it better be a good one. This card can have some potential though if teaming up with water's draw power or nature's mana power. However, like I said, I think this is a little over-costed at 6. There are better cards I can play on turn 6, Terror Pit, Holy Awe, Natural Snare, etc. Tomorrow's card is way better. I know I will get hate mail, but like I said, I feel this card could have been way better.

It costs 6 to add a card from your hand to your shields. It's a great way to get that Holy Awe so it can be triggered and cast for free, or when you simply have no shields left. Plus you get +1 mana. But people will be more wary of the new shield, so may play around it, or destroy it with an effect rather than by attacking. All in all this is a meh card.
