The mean green wrecking machine came back huge
gain! I saw this guy and my first thought was
man he was fun playing Gama Rage same attack and
defense oh but also the same cost. I remember
Sebastian Shaw coming at me twice a turn and
thought that was bad. Hulk has just as much turn
based support and is bigger then most 7 drops
but at least a point on both ends. But with
Syndicate, Quick Fate, and Voltage how often
will you get to turn 7? Well let’s pretend we
did get to turn 7. Golden age has a card or two
that make him real mean. Press the attack and
mega blast would be fun. It’s not hard to have
three other characters and you know they’ll be
exhausted. Sealed even if you can’t find two
plus 2 attack pumps in Marvel Team-up then you
have problems. Rabbit fire is turn based mix it
with The Order and you’ll make Hulk a happy
smasher. Overall if you get to turn 7 you should
be good to go for the win.
Constructed 2.5/5 it would be higher but you
won’t turn 7 very often.
Sealed 3/5 You’ll be more likely to reach turn 7
but most games are still over on 6. |

If you are playing the Marvel defenders curve
and plan on hitting turn 7, this is your win.
17/17 is a nice size body, and double attacking
is always just plan stupid in VS. Exhausting all
your characters should be a moot point since
they will all be turning sideways to backup your
new hero. Hulk is probably one of my favorite
cards in the set, as he was well designed to
only truly be a powerhouse in one kind of deck.
It’s nice and simple today, if you’re playing
Marvel defenders, run the big green guy at 7.
