Jokerkiller Demogoblin, disembodied demon
Underworld, Sinister Syndicate
5 cost Dual Loyalty
10/9 Flight and Range

I was playing Marvel team up sealed last week and divided my card pool into teams and saw I had more Syndicate and Underworld oh and I had to of this bad boy! I had 4 team ups so loyalty wasn’t a problem so my deck was set. Demogoblin is a good sized 5 drop and flight and range never hurt anyone then you slap on a super board control ability. Recovery tricks are right up the Underworld alley and KO effects are game breakers no matter what the format. I have to say I only used the KO effect. This guy will see play if these teams are being played. He took down and kept down Morbius from Mondays review.

Sealed 3/5 only because of the loyalty. I know I used him but he won’t fit all card pools.

Constructed 4.5/5 loyalty shouldn’t be to big of a problem in constructed but the abilities are to strong to ignore.

Demogoblin

Keeping with our Dual Loyalty Week, we're taking a look at Demogoblin today. With dual affiliations of the Underworld and Sinister Syndicate teams, you'll need to be playing both of those teams in order to recruit him. He's a 5-drop, like Morbius from yesterday, with 10/9 stats, as well as Flight and Range. His ability is pretty sick too; once per turn he's either a Finishing Move or a Children of the Atom, and all for the low price of one card from hand.
He's especially good with Underworld cards like Netherworld Gift, or even Lex Luthor <> Mockingbird, letting you cheat another character in for (almost) free. Syndicate and Underworld wouldn't seem like they'd play well together, since Syndicate is more popular as a full-out rush team, while Underworld sets up for a late game full of brutal pumps. Still, a curve SS/UW deck with Demogoblin at 5 and either Doc Ock or Goblyn Queen at 6 could be a force to be reckoned with, and worth playing a slower tempo game in order to get to those two cards. Playing above-the-curve SS cards, sending them into higher drops, then KO'ing those drops with Demogoblin would easily get you into the late game with dominating board position. His discard cost only serves to fill up the KO'd pile for Underworld tricks. SS/UW builds will have to give up some tricks to work together, but it can be done. When it does, Demogoblin will be there.

3.5/5
