Jokerkiller Meatmarket, Lilin
3 cost Underworld
5/4 Range Concealed-optional

Meatmarket get plus 1/1 for each card named Meatmarket in you KO’d pile. I think this is one of the cards that puts Underworld over all the other teams. Deaths Embrace means this little guy is a nice 8/7 after powering up. Now that’s a 3 drop I’ll enjoy playing. Of course I’d wait attack up the curve into my opponents 4 drop and swing for free with mine but that just how I roll I guess. The fact that Underwolrd has so much search and KO’d pile effects means at the least Meatmarket is a 6/5 which is still very playable.

Sealed 3/5 only because it’s not unreasonable to get 2 of them since there common. But still a nice body for a 3 drop.

Constructed 4.5/5 This guy wrecks boards in a hurry. I’m a fan odd initiative and Satana on 5 normally means I win.

Meatmarket

Underworld is looking like the dark horse (no pun
intended) team for the upcoming Modern Age. Of course, if we keep spoiling the secret tech, it won't technically be a dark horse anymore. Anywho, today we're looking at Meatmarket. Not a gamebreaking 3-drop, but one that can lay down some beats and fits right in with a classic Underworld theme: the KO'd pile.

Meatmarket has generic 3-drop stats; 5/4 with range.
However, Meatmarket can get pretty big, pretty quickly. Meatmarket gets +1/+1 for every copy of Meatmarket in your KO'd pile. The best way to use this effect is to discard an extra Meatmarket in your hand to power up, then once the card hits the KO'd pile, the continuous effect kicks in, making it a 2/2 pump. Slaughter Swamp and Soul World are great for being able to make that play over and over, and who doesn't want a 7/6 3-drop every turn? With 3 copies in the pile, she's an 8/7, which is slightly above average 4-drop stats. Not bad for a common.

Meatmarket is also good in draft, where you'll be looking at a lot of cards, and pulling multiples is not a bad proposition in a mono-Underworld draft deck.

Meatmarket, Lilin

I got Meatmarket, Lilin for my first review, and it's a pretty cool card, especially in Underworld decks. It is a 5/4 at 3 cost, which is an average-above average bargain. It also has an ability which says it gets an additional +1/+1 for each Meatmarket in your KO pile. It might be hard to get multiple copies of this card as it is an uncommon, and not all stores sell uncommon singles. Also, usually, having cards in your KO pile is not a good thing. In an Underworld deck though, this is one of the main strategies, and there are plenty of ways to get copies of this card into your KO pile, and others on the  field. This makes it a good move on turn 3, especially if you have been able to put one of the in your KO pile first.
Rating: 3.5/5 Good card, availability might be a problem.
