Beastly Mage

Shikamaru Nara

Sorry about the vanishing act, guys. I've had my hands full with a little mess at the store I volunteer at as a MeiJin. Can you believe the sort of messes that are involved in a Chunin tournament?! Anywho, enough about that...

This is an Academy Student version of our favorite slacker: Shikamaru. This one's good for a few things. Remember that First Hokage we reviewed some time ago? Remember how he helped replenish your deck? Well, this guy helps in that too. When he's put in play or removed from play you move three cards from your Discard Pile to the top of your Deck in any order... and then shuffle it! He doesn't give you draw power, but being able to recover up to six cards with just one Ninja is pretty good. His second effect allows you to put a Growth Coin on another Ninja when he's moved to the Chakra Area due to this mechanic. So, you get to recover some of your deck PLUS some extra Combat/Support boost. It's a good help for Earth right now. His stats are good for a T0 Shikamaru (having 3 Mental), and note the "(Childhood)" in the name...

I think you know what can be done...
