Sasori (Puppet Mode)
(Halloween Week Theme Tuesday: Puppet Master)
Today's card is a new Puppet Mode Sasori. This one
requires you sacrifice a Sasori that's Turn 5 or
more. Now you can use any Sasori rather than the
Chibi version. He's got great stats, aside from the
Puppet Master Characteristic. Now, what gets you is
that he's got a potential Swarm Effect. When he's
put in play, you can take all the Puppets in your
Discard Pile and move them to your Village... and
they all get "Non-Unique"! So, you can have three
Crows, three Black Ants, three Salamanders, and any
other Puppet right there. If you have enough
Manipulation Ninjas, or a way to get them all into
Sasori's team... that's not gonna be pretty!
In Limited I'm not sure he'll do much. Unless you
manage to draft the Sasori he's dead weight (though
a good pull), aside from being a late-entry Ninja
with Hand Cost. In Constructed you'll see this guy
bringing the pain. Try it and see!
