Hidan
(Halloween Week Theme Monday: Re-Animator)
Happy Halloween, Naruto Fans! Today's card is a Set
23 preview. This version of Hidan has a few good
things going for him. Besides being a Turn 4 with
5/0 all around, having Ambush and no MP (instead of
-1), his effect is somewhat odd. By discarding him
both players win a Battle Reward. To some this may
seem counter-productive. To me, I see this more of a
Kill Shot. Think about this: you're near winning,
besides Hidan you have teams that may get you all
the BR's you need minus 1. That's when his effect
comes in: you discard him during your Mission Phase
and both get that Battle Reward. Then you attack,
and you're done! Of course, this might be somewhat
situational. My suggestion: he's more Sideboard
material than Maindeck.

effect in this format)
