"Lean On Me" Ninja Style...

 

Well, it never feels too good being the late guy in the middle of the week but a swift kick in the butt by Naruto here is just the card to build some momentum....no seriously you will love using him!

 

Naruto (Attunement) is definitely a mixed bag, with your opponent knowing ahead of time what is to be activated and thus have more time to conceive a counter strategy, a negative does exist. But really that small gap of knowledgeable info won't change much of how your jutsu is going down and making big plays to win a game. Without going into a lengthy explanation of the mechanics of the current meta toad deck I can safely say this card will fight right in!

 

Breaking the card down itself there really isn't a flaw; it has no hand cost, dual element, higher injured power (nothing new to Naruto), a valid effect, and all the characteristics to be more then qualified to fill in a "tell us about you" section in a job application. Also note the can meaning if your really contemplating on not using the effect you can opt out...my only question to you though would be why, and on that note, why would you be playing him in the first place? I digress, I'm a huge fan of getting efficiency and effectiveness out of my cards, and this card gives me that extra help "to carry on" when "I'm not strong"! I know too many Lean on Me references but seriously I wouldn't mind using him in lightning deck since, as I've said in previous reviews, lightning plays fast and hard and the specific toad lightning jutsu's even more so follow that striking lightning philosophy.

 

Constructed 4/5 ( Unless you need specific support in another form of Naruto I don't see why not )

Limited 3.5/5 ( Situationally my jutsu's might have other plans on who is the user )
