Beastly Mage

Naruto Uzumaki

Today's card is a T3 Naruto that is reminiscent of two older versions of himself. Both of his effects are Valid, and allow you to place more Growth Coins on him. The first effect lets you put one more Growth Coin on him if you put him in play via that mechanic. The second one lets you Growth him even if he has more than one coin on him. This is actually a good effect if you're looking to pump up Naruto. Problem is that sometimes just pumping up isn't enough. Still a good choice once the new rotation kicks in, though not exactly the best.

N-1118 Naruto Uzumaki [Maximum Potential]
==================================

Today's card is an interesting Naruto, as he is a hybrid of two previous cards. His first effect that gives him an additional Growth token when he is played via growth is the same as Naruto Uzumaki [Fast Growth], an old super rare from Curse of the Sand. His second effect is copied from Hinata Hyuga [Student], however, it only affects him and not all of your ninjas. Obviously, this card is only useful for Leaf Academy decks. Best case scenario (read: very unlikely, but possible), you have you Naruto (Suit) on the field and growth this Naruto over him then growth two more [Maximum Potential]s over that and finally, you end it by growing another Naruto (Suit) over him. You should now have a Naruto with 7 Growth tokens... Now just kill off 3 "Leaf Academy" ninjas with (Suit)'s effect to win the game :P

Unreasonable combos aside, this card isn't that good, and isn't even that good in a Leaf Academy deck since you don't want to be growing over your Naruto (Suit). It still can be decked though if you have the extra room for it.
