N-861 Naruto Uzumaki [Reliance]
=========================

Ah, Naruto [Reliance].... A single card that causes so much pain during the Shonen Jump tourneys.... This card is similar to Kabuto Yakushi [Database], but he is a bit more flexible. When he is deployed, you conveniently search your deck or discard pile for a mission with a Wind or Lightning symbol. This in itself is extremely useful, giving you good draw power for either Wind or Lightning by grabbing you a Group Lesson or an Entrustment. The main card(s) taken with this guy though was Pledge Under a Starry Sky or Respective dreams. Originally, those cards were not highly played, if it all, due to the inconsistency of actually pulling of their effects. Reliance did half of the work for you, and made two useless cards into a top tier deck. Nowadays, those cards are blocked and Naruto is rogue's to one, but he is still a threat, especially in Unlimited. Grabbing an NVS with this guy will spell disaster for your opponent, trust me. It's happened to me countless times.

It's second effect is the icing on the cake, giving your other Leaf ninjas a +0/+1 boost. The majority of ninjas played in Lightning are Leaf, so this can give you a great boost. Not as much helpful in Wind, but still nice to have. A very powerful card, worthy of its spot.

Naruto (reliance)

A promo card that does everything you would want in a lightning deck.

-Searches for a lightning or wind mission that could pull you out of a tough spot like Group Lesson, Loss, Delicate Operation, etc -a pump to leaf ninjas

It's turn 3, with Naruto stats (stronger when injured) and it has dual element!
 Naruto is a great card for both wind or lightning decks and very rewarding when deployed.  Limited to 1 but still strong, I'd say its the best naruto out, in the meanwhile.

There's a set of [Reliance] ninjas that includes:
Jiraiya
Sakura
Kakashi
Gaara

but there isn't much synergy between them all.  Naruto is top between all of those and can be used without another reliance card needed.

Block: 4/5
early game and can turn the tables within deployment

Limited: 4/5
there's crazy cards out there but this Ninja is a solid card, still great
