Today's card is another one of the Pervy Sage's techniques from his fight against Pain. This Jutsu can only be used by a Turn 6 or higher Jiraiya (meaning Kid Jiraiya can't use it). The normal effect allows you to injure one Ninja. It can be any Ninja, not just one battling the user. The other effect only applies when the user is Jiraiya (Sage Mode): give one damage to the target. If played right you can kill off one Ninja in a snap! For two Lightning that's good, though it's a bit situational. Note that the normal effect says "Injure" and not "Give one damage", so the only way you get to injure the target is if the user is in Sage Mode. Also it's one valid user with a minimum turn cost requirement. This would make it a bit useless in Limited, but useful in constructed.

Today's jutsu is one of Jiraiya's new Sage Mode techniques. Unfortunately, it is absolutely terrible. First off, it requires Jiraiya with an entrance cost of 6 or more. While this isn't too bad since most Jiraiya's are T6, it prevents you from using it early game with Jiraiya (Childhood). Even if you could use it early, the effect isn't too powerful. While sniping cards are very good, only injuring a ninja is pretty weak considering you only have one user that can only be played late game. If you're Jiraiya (Sage Mode), you'll get to kill the ninja which is nice, plus you get an extra target. Still, it is pretty bad in my opinion.
