Beastly Mage

Today's card is a TP4 version of Master Ebisu. At T3 he's pretty decent for a Special Jonin, having 2 Support in both positions and 1 Mental (while also having 4 Combat while Healthy and 2 while Injured). His effect is a bit of a swarm aid. You put him in play, and you can put in play a Konohamaru Ninja card. If you somehow manage to put Ebisu in play without actually deploying him then that could mean three Ninjas at once. Note that the effect doesn't say that it must be ONLY Konohamaru, which would mean that Konohamaru's Squad can be put in play (since it's not a Reinforcement). Remember that it includes the "Name: Konohamaru" Characteristic. In Limited he's so-so. In any of the Constructed formats (Unlimited and Block) he's good, since having extra Ninjas out always helps (especially when that Ninja is also a valid Rasengan User).

Constructed: 2.5/5
Block: 3/5
Art: The art doesn't hide he's still a closet perv.../5
