Beastly Mage

Wind Style: Rasen Shuriken

Today's card is another Super-Rare Jutsu from TP3. This one requires the user have Clone Status and be a Turn-3 or more. It doesn't have a name requirement, but we all know the best user is a Turn-3 Naruto (or a Tailed Beast Form). The first part of this Jutsu lets you draw one card for each Symbol on the target (in this case, a Ninja battling the User). So, if that Ninja has two symbols, you get to draw two cards. Then, comes the good part: moving the Target to the Battle Reward Area. Unless you get that Jutsu negated or its effect gets changed, you just scored a Reward right there (and maybe more if your opponent was Chump-Blocking).

The other good part about this card is that you can either pay it with 2 Lightning/1 Colorless or 5 Colorless, which makes it a bit more flexible. Pretty good in Block, IMO.

Ratings:

Limited: 1/5 (the requirement hurts it a bit)
Constructed: 2.5/5
Block: 3.5/5

Wind Style: Rasen Shuriken (TP3 Version)

Today we take a look at the only jutsu to have a portmanteau in its name. RasenShuriken is TP3's second favorite super rare (only desired behind Nagato) and it's well worth it. It's better than the Will of Fire version because it's requirements aren't limited to Naruto. With the Clone Training mission card from TP3, you can allow anyone to play this jutsu as well as Naruto ones. It will net you at least 1 card from its use, and at best turns the target into a battle reward. (Since it doesn't say face down, is the BR ninja face up?) One of the nice things about it is that if your opponent prevents themselves from getting removed by way of a protection jutsu, you will still get to draw. One of the things I wonder though is why this version didn't get the wind symbol like its previous two versions?

Limited: 3/5 As long as you can get a turn 3 Naruto in your draft.
Unlimited: 4/5 It's a pretty decent jutsu. Even better if you Shadow Clone Jutsu to boost, and then drop this.
Block: 4.5/5 One of lightning's best jutsu cards, next to Lariat.
