Don't worry about me, Bill. We're just lucky that I managed to get Internet service at the office again. LOL

Taking Over the World

This exclusive is, simply put, a MUST for Akatsuki decks. This card comboes well with another exclusive we reviewed recently, and it's just that good.

First off: no hand cost. This is great, particularly in Limited if you drafted a couple of Akatsukis. If that couple is out, you draw one card and discard one. In constructed, it's better, since you have access to more Akatsuki Ninjas, and you may even get the second and third effects. It's a regular mission, not a permanent, making it a bit balanced.

In Block, this card has a lot of potential. Could the Akatsuki deck really take over the World?

Only time will tell...

5/14/10 M-652 Taking Over the World
===========================

Another Friday, another exclusive preview, which is another T3, H0, rare mission that has to do with Akatsuki ninjas (but no Rogue ninjas this time :/).

This card is a little lackluster for its effect, even without hand cost. The first effect isn't to hard to pull-off in an Akatsuki deck, but it's a very weak deck cycle effect; Tobi's effect is far better with no requirements. The second effect is decent, but requires three Akatsuki ninjas which is a little challenging. The third effect is actually worse than the second in my opinion. Sure, Battle Rewards wins the game, but injuring a ninja can lead you to winning more Battle Rewards in the long run.

This card would have been decent if it was permanent like Rules for Medical Ninjas. For a one-time effect, all of them are not worth the requirements to pull them off. The only potential combo I see with this card is with the new Kisame, which gives you two Akatuki ninjas for the turn. Even so, this card is bad, even in Akatsuki decks. At least it will look cool foil.

Limited: 1/5 You're never going to pull this off.
Constructed: 1.5/5 Run last weeks exclusive over this.
Block: 1.25/5
