Kakashi Hatake
Today's Chibi is one I trully love. Not just because
I like Doggy Decks, but I'm a bit of a Kakashi fan.
LOL
Basic Kakashi Stats (as in, Kakashi with no hand
cost Stats), 3 Mental, and Sharingan Eye. You put
him in play, and you can pick out two Ninja Dogs
from either your Chakra or Discard Areas, and put
them in play. This guy gives Doggy Decks a bit of
swarming if played right. On top of that, he gets
+1/+1 for each Ninja Dog you have out from the
moment he attacks until the end of the turn. In the
right deck, this guy's a real beatstick. Dunno how
he would fare off in a Booster Draft, but in a
well-made deck... he's gonna let the dogs out! XD

Well, as you can see, I'm pretty exited that this
card is being reprinted, however, he might be a bit
overpowered now due to the increase of Ninja Dogs,
namely, The Haimaru Brothers. He is somewhat like
reprinting Freedori; decks revolve around his
powerful effects. Necro rushing two puppies is a
powerful effect, and it helps his second effect: a
+1/+1 boost for each of your in-play Ninja Dogs. I
have played him in my Unlimited Puppy rush deck and
have had outstanding results. I only necro'd one
dog, but I had a total of four in my village, so I
received a massive +4/+4 boost.
This guy is nuts, and I'm not sure if reprinting him
was a god idea since block was made to keep cards
like him out of the game, but then again, I'm not
complaining. I love this Kakashi. On top of his
insane effect, he has Jonin, Sharingan Eye, and
Mental Power 3, three very important characteristics
to have. Additionally, his name is Kakashi, which
adds Lightning Blade and Chidori to his arsenal.
A very good card, which is a must for
Puppy/Animal/Circus rush.
Limited: X/5 Depends if there are puppies being
reprinted or not.
Constructed: 4.25/5 Great for puppy decks.
Block: 4.25/5 All the good puppies are already block
legal.

[Anbu Days]
More Chibi, more chibi. Well, this isn't as much of
a preview as it is an unveiling. We've seen this
card already, back in The Chosen. I doubt any of you
are surprised to see this card reprinted, especially
with new dogs available. The thing I wonder though
is why we got the chibi version of an older Kakashi
for this card and not a chibi anbu? I digress. Well,
this was one of those cards that took everyone by
surprise for the 2008 Sanin event. It's still good
even today. Even better actually with the Haimaru
Brothers, since they can come into play and break
uniqueness. I think this card will always be fun in
ninja dog mill, and I would expect it to see play
anytime someone isn't running boyhood Kakashi on
turn 4. I don't know how useful this will be in
limited, but something makes me think that we will
see both Kiba's mom, her dog, and an Akamaru
reprinted in the chibi packs. It'll make this
Kakashi even more valuable in block.
