Beastly Mage

Shino Aburame

Today's card is sure to make a few players very happy (me included). This version of Shino is perfect for any format, for many reasons. First off, he's a very solid turn 0. Nice combat and support stats, mental power, and other things. Second, and most important, is his effect. You put him in play (be it by deployment, growth, or otherwise) and you get an extra Ninja. Granted, the extra Ninja is a 0/0-0/0 Coin that can't use any Jutsus, but the Coin does have advantages. It can be used as an extra attacker, or a chump blocker. I've seen situations where the Bug Coin (as I like to call it) is a Head Ninja! And, remember, there's no limit on how many Bugs you can have on the field. Let's say at turn 0 you put a Shino in play and the Coin comes in. At turn 1, you put the same version of Shino in play via growth, and a new Bug comes to the field!

In short, if you get one use it!

6/18/10 N-511 Shino Aburame [Insect Warriors]
===================================

Today's exclusive is the chibi version of the popular T0 ninja, Shino [IW]! This guy was the shiz when came out, and to this day he is still very good. Getting out two ninjas early game will guarantee you an advantage early game and can win you some fast battle rewards with some rushing. He's even good if you get him late game since he is basically two chumps for the price of one. This card is very good and will be in high demand when TP1 come out.

Limited: 4.75/5 He's great here
Constructed: 4/5 Still when of the T0 ninjas in the game
Block: 4/5

Shino Aburame- Insect Warriors

Alright Pojo, here is another Chibi preview for you. It is one I'm sure most of you will be proud to have around. It is our good friend Shino.

To review this parasitic ninja. He is exactly the same, just much cooler looking. When he is put in play, put 1 coin (symbolizing) an insect coin into play. The coin gets the stats of 0/0 0/0 and can not be the user of a jutsu. It would be rather funny if the bug coin could use Fear By Genjutsu though.

A solid effect on Turn 0. Shino himself, is a 2/1 0/0; which is under par for a Turn 0. That is overlooked by his ability though. He has growth, which means you can do this again. Mental Power of an almighty 1. Finally, is a Leaf ninja. So Succedded Will of Fire away!!! The only thing that hurts his ability is Choji Akimichi-Infuriation. Choji's ability to eat Ninja Coins is rather annoying. Why can't Choji be full for once!!!

The thing that seperates this version of him compared to his counterpart is the art.This art is so amazing for a Shino. I love it. My favorite art for a card in a whle. That pose could put him in Dragon Ball Z, while looking super cool with his shades on.

Same dude from before just better art!!!
