Man, is it hard to do anything when you're thinking of not doing it...by the way, I was on Naruto Shippuden Live last night, so check it out!  You can find it through Bandai's boards, and we had a special preview card on, so you're really going to want to watch it, boy howdy!
Today's card is one of the new lightning staples, Messenger Ninja.  Aside from this card itself, it's also a part of the best draw lightning has right now.  So with that mentioned, let's check out it's stats, shall we:
T0 HC0 Lightning
Leaf | Male | Messenger
0/0 -1/-1 CA: Delivery
Set 16 Uncommon
Wow, it's stats are really bad!  I sure hope one day there's a reason for it's Messenger Characteristic and Delivery combat attribute...this is a card that's super not used for it's statistics.  Let's get to it's effect quick, shall we:
During your Mission Phase, you can reveal the top 6 cards of your Deck. If there are 1 or more Ninja cards with an Entrance cost of 1 or less and a Lightning Symbol, you can discard this Ninja. In that case, put 1 of them in play and return the rest and shuffle your Deck.
It puts itself into discard for it's own mission, nets you a ninja who might actually be higher than turn cost, and thins deck?  Wow!  This guy is a beast!  He's pretty much a three of in any lightning deck, as his effect does so much.  Even getting ninjas into discard is nice with Group Training to pull them back.  In Unlimited, he's a perfect Emina target.
Limited: 2/5 Consistency is his problem here
Constructed: 4/5 Strong here
Block: 4/5 As well as here!

4/7/10 N-765 Messenger Ninja

Today's card is another ninja from a filler I've never seen (I skipped all of them due to lack of patience). For starters, this guy has the weakest stats in the game, and is one of the only two ninjas with a negative stat value, the other being an old Naruto, if I recall correctly. Additionally, his characteristics and combat attribute (Delivery? wtf?) are mostly useless except perhaps Leaf since it helps Succeeded Will of Fire activate. Now with all of those weak stats, he must have a good effect right? Indeed he does. During your mission phase, you look at the top 6 cards of your deck and if there is a T1 or less Lightning Ninja among them, you can put said Ninja in play by being an hero (read: killing yourself). This can add some consistency when you don't have much low drops in your hand and can speed up a T1 ninja such as Naruto [DC] by a turn. The main reason this card is highly played though is because of the "Messenger Ninjas" mission card. The mission let's you draw 3 cards if you have a dead Messenger Ninja, which is nice given the ninjas effect.

Limited: 2/5 T0 is welcome here, even if it has terribad stats
Constructed: 3.5/5 Really good here since Lightning is lacking on on-color T0 Ninjas and it triggers off the corresponding mission.
Block: 3.5/5
