5 is the highest rating.

Beastly Mage

Konohamaru

This Konohamaru is pretty good. OK, so he doesn't have the deck-cycling power the previous version had, but he's still good. Combo him with at least one other from his squad and he's pumped up. In limited he's a good turn 0 option (since that's one of the most crucial turns in that format in my experience). Try it and see.

Konohamaru [Rookie of the Leaf]

So he can be a 3/0 4/0 with Udon or Moegi, with the latter being a decent drop. Problem? Outcome of the Training is overall better as he works alone; cycling cards is a good thing. I can see him being played, but in a very rare instance. I'd rather go with your other option as he'll have more overall use.

Constructed: 2.0 out of 5.0
Limited: 4.8 out of 5.0 (He's a zero drop.)

Toucher
Today we have one of the Rookie Trio from set 12, Konohamaru!

Konohamaru has got 2 main cards, one is the set 11 Outcome of the Training the other is set 10's Konohamaru Ninja Squad. This card, while good, just doesn't make the bill.

As all the Rookie Trio, Konohamaru Get's a bonus if one of the other two are in the village, gaining a +2 to combat is nice, but I'd rather cycle through my deck or hold off the opposing Gaara. Sorry Kono

Constructed: 1 out of 5. Just not enough

Limited: 4 out of 5. He's a turn 0, he could be effectless and he'd be golden.

Art: 5 out of 5. Tell me that pic is not the bomb......

Until next time, this is da Poo Toucher
Mark Howard Konohamaru [Bla bla bla]

Just a bad Konohamaru. His boost is nice, but you'd need to play at least 4 in total of Moegi and Udon, who are all different elements, so that's not good. Either way, you're better off with [Outcome of the Training]. However, if you do manage to pull off using all 3 of them, he's pretty good, but that takes up a lot of space in the deck.

2.5/5

Fun Fact: Konohamaru, Udon and Moegi appeared in a Christmas special of Ben 10. Really.
