Beastly Mage

Naruto Uzumaki

[Will Power] at first looks like a so-so card. It's got all the new Naruto stats (including clone status), but the effect activates at the end of the turn rather than during the battle phase. To be honest I think the vanilla Naruto from the new set is better (since it's a 4/0 - 7/0 with growth and clone status).

Not much else to say. =\

Ratings:

Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 1/5

I don’t really know what to say about this one. It’s effect isn’t bad for a Naruto, but generally I don’t like giving my enemy free shots at my ninja. This card is decent in limited, but as for constructed, problem is, its not OC, CoP or even the new tin Naruto. So, it won’t see play. What else can we really say about it? By the way, go check out the podcast, it tells what squads are and how they work! (This is the only time Zero is gonna get a free promotion from us…)

Limited: 3/5

Um, no. Injuring yourself is cute. But that's what Sasuke [Breaking Off the Connection] is for. There's no reason to ever play this Naruto, as your T0 options are better for tempo (Control of Power), and T3 you've got Overflowing Chakra, Mastering the Hidden Technique, and to a small extent, Growing Power. Throw this one into the fodder folks.

Constructed: 1.0 out of 5.0
Limited: 3.5 out of 5.0 (Still a good Ninja overall in sealed.)

Hello CotD fanatics, today we go over Naruto Uzumaki Will Power from set 13.

Now the big problem with playing this naruto, and all turn 3 naruto's for that matter, is that you can no longer play the most potent turn 0 in the game, Naruto Control of Power from set 4. The upside to playing the big 3 turn 3 naruto's (Overflowing Chakra, Mastering the Secret Technique, and Growing Power) is that they each have a very potent effect (be it untouchability, scaning for jutsu, or a win more effect) this one, however can only turn himself into a +2 injured status and nothing else.

With the game's main character, we need a really good effect, we have 4-5 great naruto uzumakis, this is not one of them.

Constructed: 2 out of 5. You need a new naruto....

Limited: 3 out of 5. Ninjas are good in this format.

Art: 3 out of 5. Nothing worth remembering, but not bad art.

Until next time, this is THE Poo Toucher.

Shabot shalom fellow duelist and welcome to another round of reviews, today is going ( insert dattabayo ) to be ( insert dattabayo ) a great ( insert dattabayo ) review ( insert dattabayo ) about Naruto!

Naruto (Will Power) strikes me as a card that is justifiable. This card is by no means the shining star in any deck but is helpful to some and welcomed happily by others. Notice that this Naruto is still Genin, story wise is because he left the village to train with Jirayia. He is clone status which is a plus and is all the other standard stuff along with being turn 3. What makes this ninja somewhat worthy is his effect, turning Naruto into strong leader for any team bieng at six power. Other cards that cause self injury work well with this naruto such as Suicidal Action, Tide of the Deadly Battle, and that one earth scars card. Probrably the most useful thing about this naruto is that he is oil, which makes him a lovely addition to the toad deck. His growth effect will also make him take the place of other early game Naruto's.

Constructed: 4/5 ( 4.5/5 in a toad deck)
Limited: 2/5 (only one naruto that has a lower level than this one + that Gaara platoon)
Art: ( insert dattabayo ) for subtext!

Mark Howard Naruto [Willpower]

We all remember [Battle Decision]. Well, this is basically that same Naruto, except Shippuden. A poor man's Shippuden Naruto, as every single other one does something much better (BRs, no mental, fetch jutsus, or 7/0). Nothing more I can say about this. Basically a normal Naruto who loses one attack/block.

1/5
Art: Blegh.
Tomorrow: We all thought this card would be EVERYWHERE.
Fun Fact: Fig Newtons can have dead spiders in them. Eek!
