Beastly Mage

Naruto Uzumaki

Today's card is a Chibi version of the same Naruto that came in the latest set of tins. This time around the effect has the errata: It only activates when he attacks. This guy can look for his signature techniques (such as Rasengan, 2K, and others that require a Naruto or have "Rasengan" in their name) from the top five cards in your deck. You get to pick one if you find any, and return the rest to your deck and shuffle it. Tutoring and cycling are good things for a deck right now, IMO. Add to the effect that this guy has growth, Clone Status, Oil Combat Attribute, and the standard Shippuden Naruto stats, and you've got a good choice for Lightning.

Limited: Promo/5
Constructed: 4/5
Art: His head is so huge, it's gone beyond "Knuclkehad"!/5

N-524 Naruto Uzumaki: Mastering the Hidden Technique

Hello again, it's N. again, here with the title character of the show, Naruto!  This one is another of the T3 versions again, meaning the stats are still 3/0 6/0, which isn't a bad thing, but leaving anything injured pretty much makes it vunerable to death murder, which I've heard can be fatal.  Still Oil, still clone status, which means he can use all your fav Naruto Jutsu, which is a big selling point of this card.

You see boys and girls, when this ninja attacks, he can search the top five cards of the owners deck and look for a jutsu with Requirements: Naruto Uzumaki or Rasengan in the name, and if he finds it, he puts it in his hand!  I'd pan Bandai for originality, but honestly I'm just happy there's enough techniques with those requirements to make him worth using: 2K, Rasengan, Explosion...pretty solid line up, especially with Jiraiya pulling back the ones you already used.

This right here is my fav Naruto, as he's his own deck without being unbalanced and still provides a fun theme for people to tool around with.  Right now Lightning really got it's legs back thanks to having two Jiraiyas now, and I'm looking forward to seeing what EA (it's in the game!) is going to give to lightning to bring it back to center stage.

Constructed: 4/5 Awesome card, great idea for a Naru, he wins the fight.

Limited: 1/5...yeah, he's in a tin...but my "First word after seeing this card" review for this card is "...but he's a tin card...."/5

StormVyper Zera Naruto Uzumaki [Mastering the Hidden Technique]

This card is basically an [Immense Power] ninja for Rasengan. On paper, one might think a like a deck using this card would hold about around the same level of power that Over 9k held, however it's been proven to not be the case. Rasengan, for lack of a better words, is a pretty clunky jutsu; 3 chakra is a pretty hefty cost compared to Gaara's sand jutsus. The difference, however, is the fact that Rasengan can literally wipe out an entire team all on its own.

Limited: 2/5 (Isn't this a tin card?)
Constructed: 3/5 (It's good in its own deck.)
Artwork: I really, really don't like this artwork compared to the original. Then again, being chibi isn't that big a deal to me in the first place.

Good day to you all, next card on chibi week is my favorite chibi of my favorite ninja :D

Naruto Uzumaki N-524

This Naruto is turn 3 with all his great stats from clone status to oil, to growth and such, he also has great stats if (H:3/0, I:6/0). A 6/0 on turn 3 is no laughing matter in a deck based around him. Now for his effect...

His effect fishes out any Naruto Uzumaki jutsu or any jutsu with Rasengan in its name which is incredibly great, like Gaara Over9k he's great in a deck built around him, it's also valid and note that it's when he's sent out to attack and not onto battle like Gaara [Inmense Power]. It's a great effect that scares the bajeebus out of anyone on turn 3 for sure if you have the chakra to support him of course. A Good combo I like with him is Haku[Camouflage] which has great synergy with him.

A good ninja with great effect if used correctly plus he's my fav :D

Limited: 3/5 (Statwise good but his effect no)
Constructed: 4/5 (Very good in his own deck)

Art: So cute!!/5
