Beastly Mage

New Pervy Ninjutsu

This can be one lethal card if played right. Let's say you're chump blocking with a single "Male" Ninja. Your opponent has a big team composed of males (Shikamaru US Formation and Kakashi [ES] come to mind). You use this Jutsu and your opponent probably won't know what the heck just happened (which happens a lot where I come from). Now, remember, this only affects "Male" Ninjas, meaning Animal and Puppet-only Ninjas (for example) aren't affected. Also, this also gives damage to the Males in the user's team, so be careful how you use it. Overall, this can be a fun card in Limited, but we have to see just how well it will do in Constructed. Try it and see.

Ah lightning week and oddly themed gender bending jutsu. Gotta love it. I'm still surprised that Bandai can say "pervy, and "suicidal" but they give Lee "Loopy Fist?" Go figure. Anyway today's new card is:

New Pervy Ninjutsu

Now this is an interesting card. It gives damage to every male in both ninja's teams. There are some potential combos with this, and the biggest one I see is Naruto [One Last Attack] and Neji [For Those Who Believe in Me] in the same team using this jutsu. Naruto uses it, pings himself, gives them an additional damage. 1 male ninja down, it pings and discards Neji, who in turn hits another male ninja. With 1 jutsu and two ninja, you have nuked two of their male ninja. Pretty decent tradeoff if I do say so. You could even go further into the damage shenanigans with missions like disaster or browbeater, just for fun. Problem is though, this jutsu isn't cheap for being a damage all jutsu. I think just a solid two chakra would have warranted the effect here. Also, I don't see much room for this in an OC deck, but any other lightning themed deck might be able to take advantage of it if you so desire.

Limited: 4/5 (Damage and removal are king in limited.)
Constructed: 2/5
Art: Well, I guess Bandai didn't want to show the "yuri" jutsu Naruto created. Well, a guy making it with himself and his clone while both transformed into females is kind of odd...And on that note, can Naruto actually...with his clones...err...yeah, lets not think about that one...

New Pervy Ninjutsu - Jutsu - Lightning

Cute card. Interesting effect. Poor polish.

This card has a significant drawback: damaging all the Males in your team other than the user, who becomes Female. Sure that can be worked around by being a one-man chump blocking/suicide team, or just having all Females with your one Male, but personally, I hate being too restricted when using a jutsu. The card itself is great; dealing a damage to all opposing Males can lead to an OV.

Other problem is the cost. For three chakra, the card better be amazing, because chaining to anything that costs three is not very easy. This card has the potential to be amazing, but also can be very situational in order to become amazing.

I'd rather just run Shadow Clone Jutsu from Eternal Rivalry which can be used by virtually anyone to OV a team and not worry about the OC Ninjas and whoever is in my team.

Limited: 1.5/5 - Having the right chakra isn't likely. But it would be funny to pull off in limited.
Constructed: 1.9/5 - Funny effect, but better cards out there that aren't so situational.
