The Second Hokage[Water-Style
Jutsu]
We continue to look at Lineage of
the Legends with “Hokage Week.” Today we are looking
at the Second Hokage.
The Second Hokage is a card I like
a lot better than I thought I would. He’s a turn 6
with 1 hand cost Water Ninja. He’s a male with
mental power 2 and a Satoosa rank. His stats are
solid being 6/4 healthy and 3/3 injured. His effect
is pretty decent. It states: “During Your Mission
Phase, you can discard X number of chakra with a
Water symbol. In that case select 1 of your
opponent’s ninja to give it –X/-X during the turn.
At the end of that turn, you can move up to X number
of cards with a Water symbol in your discard piIe to
your Chakra area.” His effect is basically a built
in Jutsu for him.
However,
I would only use this effect if you have
enough water chakra to make it work as Jutsus are
far superior to battle than his effect. Water Style
Giant Vortex Jutsu comes to mind when thinking of
late game water Jutsu. He’s solid, but the question
is who do you like better, him, the Quest for Power
Super, or the Starter deck exclusive as all 3 are
very good at what they bring to the table.
Water as an element is really
solid and the Second Hokage is just another weapon
they have now that they have a turn 5 Orochimaru,
which solidifies the Second Hokage as your turn 6
Water ninja. In limited, he’s really solid
regardless of you getting to utilize his effect.
