We continue this week with another turn 5 card, Might Guy.

Now, we’ve seen a lot of Might Guy cards in the last few sets, with none really standing out, and this one is no better. It’s effect is kind of useful, as growth coins are always good on a ninja that doesn’t drop much stats wise healthy or injured. However, at best I’d only expect him to get 3 growth coins, and then he is highly susceptible to removal and damage jutsu that fire carries in abundance. The only potential combo I see here is sitting him in the backfield, then sending out Neji, Lee, and TenTen to get discarded while you have Asuma (BBQ) out. Then you get 3 growth coins, and draw 3 cards. All in all though, Backup remains the best Might Guy.

Limited 4/5
Constructed: 2/5
Art: 3/5 (Don’t get to see Might Guy using the 8 inner gates too often.)

Ugly's effect is crappy. But good if you have WAY too many chump blockers. Still, Ugly's nothing but a more-win card, which is something you don't need.

Tomorrow: Same turn cost, bigger nose, and looks like my gym teacher.

Fun Fact: I also love Geoffry and Pelleas!!!!!

Funner Fact: I can beat my friend in Brawl with Olimar, WITHOUT PIKMIN. He's not allowed to play Brawl any more.
