Beastly Mage

Rasengan

Rasengan: The Spyraling Sphere...

Today's card is a Jutsu from the new Lightning/Fire starter deck. This version costs one Lightning and two colorless (kinda like a Lightning version of Monday's Jutsu card). Only Naruto (with Clone Status), Jiraiya, and The Fourth Hokage can use it. This version of Rasengan doesn't pump the user up like all the others, but it does pack a nice effect. Give one damage to the target (one opposing Ninja). If that Ninja is discarded because of this Jutsu's effect, then give one damage to another of your opponent's Ninjas. That is what I call a sweet effect. Like yesterday's card, this one's a Starter Deck exclusive. Try it and see!

Today, we have our favorite ninja’s most powerful jutsu, Rasengan!

This is another starter deck exclusive card, and it’s a pretty decent one. Looking at the themes of these last cards, Bandai seems to want to keep the damage Meta in full force. This Rasengan can ping up to two of your opponents ninja, and nearly wipe out a whole team. Combo it with the new Shuriken that injures a ninja, then pop them with this. After that, you can hit them for another damage on any ninja! Pretty nasty if I do say so myself. This one will shine in fire/lightning where you have access to plenty of damage cards like fireball and suicidal action. Try it out!

Mark Howard Rasengan

The fiftieth Rasengan card made. This one has cool points because it has the cool Naruto on it. You only need a single definite chakra (one lightning) to use this, making it great for multielement decks! Basically, you get to kill any injured opponent. Then, you get to hit another one! This card is an uncommon from a structure deck.
This is a very powerful and flexible card, and it is beyond easy to get.

5/5!!!!!!!!!!
Art: Meh. I'm getting tired of seeing Naruto with a Rasengan in his hand...
Fun Fact: I have to do a science project on fat cells....... :(
Tomorrow: Now there's two >_>
The First
Hokage
Rasengan

Today we are looking at Rasengan from the new Approaching Wind Starter decks that came out last week.

Rasengan is a Lightning card requiring 1 Lightning and 2 of any chakra. The requirements are: Naruto with Clone Status, Jiraiya or Fourth Hokage. The effect is 1 ninja battling against the user, give 1 damage to the target, if the target is discarded, give 1 damage to 1 of your opponent’s other ninjas.
Now I think this is a pretty solid Rasengan. It avoids Gigantic Fan, which is really nice. The effect is also solid as Naruto is getting stronger these days, it could lead to an outstanding victory in a lot of cases. One of the best Rasengan cards seen to date and it’s a starter exclusive. Pretty nice overall.

Rating:

Constructed: 4/5
Limited: If you use starter decks… 4/5
