Beastly Mage

Sasuke Uchiha and Orochimaru

Welcome to another week of reviews, Naruto fans. Today's card is one that many have been expecting. The Sasuke/Orochimaru Platoon is quite a hitter: 7/4 - 6/3, Sharingan Eye, 3 Mental Power, and Sannin! In limited it could work if you can draft at least one of the two necesary Ninjas, but in constructed... this could be a monster! Try it and see.

Happy Monday all! Well, as happy as it can be for you. I’m excited because this week is the release date for Lich King!

Today however, we have a new super rare platoon from Approaching Wind, Michael Jackson and his boy t…errr…Sasuke Uchiha and Orochimaru!

I have to say, this thing is pretty mean. Those stats are pretty amazing, 7/4 6/3. Similar to other Oro’s, but have a little boost. Mental of 3, Sharingan Eye, Sannin Rank, this ninja can pretty much fire off any and every jutsu from Water and Fires arsenal. Not a bad ability, and that’s just what it has in its characteristics. Now, look at the effect. When your turn marker is 9, drop an opponents ninja to the bottom of the deck. That’s nasty enough in itself, but as an added bonus, you can pitch 2 cards to get your turn marker back to 8 and do it again next turn. The problem is though, will your games always reach turn 9? That’s the variable there. And when you drop this platoon, your opponent will do everything in their power to kill it (Or at least damage it, since it’s not valid). I’d still like to try the card out though.

Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 3/5
Art: This guy and his stupid tongue…and then we get an emo kid on it too? Ugh…
