Naruto Uzumaki & Sasuke Uchiha [Explosion of the Ultimate Jutsu]

Now here we have a great platoon. This one allows you to reduce the cost of either a Chidori or a Rasengan being used by this platoon by either one "Fire" or one "Lightning". On top of that the Jutsu can't be negated. Pretty sweet, huh? Now, you have to take into consideration one thing. Remember a client card named "Shu"? The cat that allows Naruto to use a Rasengan by paying only one "Lightning"? Think about it... Could this be the staple card in a whole new type of deck? Who knows, but it's worth a shot.

hey finally made them into a platoon.  Every Naruto and/or Sasuke fanboy/fangirl wants this card.  Anyway, let's see if it is actually any good.  Turn 2, 4/2,4/2, Clone Status, Sharingan Eye, Taijutsu/Oil combat attribute.  All good.  The effect, Valid: when this ninja is battling you can reduce the cost of 1 Rasengan or Chidori jutsu by 1 Lightning or 1 Fire chakra.  Also, that jutsu cannot be negated.  This makes Chidori and Rasengan both cost only 1 specific and 1 anything, and it can't be negated.  However, this is meant to dominate Middle to early Late game, where negation will be a little scarce.  Also, since both of those jutsus only pump combat, you'll need to have this platoon as a head ninja, so Shikamaru(Formation), could negate the cost reduction, and the un-negatability.  This might see some play in Rasengan decks, although it could see play in Chidori decks, Sasuke BTL already reduces the cost of Chidori to nothing, instead of by 1 fire.  It is a solid platoon with some promise, but the nature of the jutsus they use make this easier to get around.

Well this is scary platoon.  Reducing the cost of Chidori and Rasengan, plus making them unstoppable?  Yes please.  All this on turn 2?  YES PLEASE!  Like Chidori decks didn't have enough speed.  Being able to fire up your nasty attacks with fewer costs.  Everyone loves that.

Problem is, I don't think that Blazing Rasengan counts.  I'll have to check that

Naruto & Sasuke: Explosion of the Ult. Jutsu

It's N. again, here telling you about these two guys finally getting their own place together, platoon style! This is one of those cards that I'd like to see work, simply because of how cool a concept it is, in it kinda can.  What it does is lowers the cost of Rasengan or Chidori by one of it's on element cost and makes it unnegatable.  Now it's hard to see someone with a Freedori Sasuke platooning into this unless they have Rasengan in hand, but Naruto works fine platting out any form of himself.  Making either of those game changing jutsu cost only 2 chakra total makes it possible to see both played in the same turn, which is a win, plus both Rasengan and Chidori are unable to be negated when used by Sasuke & Naruto!  That right there helps out a lot, as it prevents Gigantic Fan from being a problem.  I'm going to find out about the ruling for Shu(Changes the cost of a Rasengan used by Naruto to one lightning), and if it works for this card, makes Rasengan into a kunai cost, which is bonzer.
